What Grants People the Highest Honor?
Sultan al-Awliya
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani
17 April 2010      Lefke, Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh stands.)
Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah.
Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah.
Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultan Allah.

O our Lord, O our Creator! Forgive us and give Your blessings for the honor of the most honored one in Your Divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (s).
Zidhu yaa Rabbee `izzan wa sharafan nooran wa surooran, sultaanan wa ridwaana. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.) Madad, yaa Sultanu 'l-Awliyaa. O holy ones! O sultan of holy ones on this planet, on dunya! Support us, grant us what is necessary for us to know and to understand and to do. We are so heedless ones. May Allah (swt) forgive us.

As-salaamu `alaykum
our attenders in the east and west, whom they have been honored to be deputies of the Lord of this planet. We are speaking only about our planet. And we are saying
a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem, because everywhere you are finding Shaytan. If anything coming to you from heavenly lights and enlightening us, (he is) coming and asking to put a dark veil on it that we can't see behind what is there. That is Shaytan's mission. Khaza`ahullah, may Allah curse him. Amaan yaa Rabbee, amaan yaa Rabbee.

As a protocol we must say, but I am ashaming to say, "O our Lord, protect us from Shaytan." What is that? Why? But Allah Almighty and His kingdom is from pre-Eternal up to Eternal, endless oceans for His territories, endless universes, countless kingdoms, countless dominions! How, if a person is fearing from something in front of a sultan's palace, he is coming, "Ohhh, Your Majesty, reach to me, save me from this one!" Particularly Shaytan, that it is the ugliest creature ever created, from pre-Eternal up to Eternal. There can't be a more ugly than Shaytan! And asking (from the sultan), "Come, save me from this." What is that? But our understanding is as small as an atom. Therefore, we are saying, fa'asta`eedh billah, say, "I seek refuge and protection in Allah from Shaytan." This is His holy command, as an order we are saying, or an ant may ddestroy Shaytan and its works so easily, by His command. We are saying,
a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem!

O Our Salafi `ulamas! Marhaban! As-salaamu `alaykum also! Don't worry, I am only angry against our egos, not your being; your being is from Allah Almighty! Kamil, mukammal, perfected. Yes. Man, Adam (a), what does it mean, "Adam?" You know that meaning, O Salafi `ulamas? Say to me what does it mean, "Adam." Adam showing, alif has a meaning, daal has another meaning, meem has another meaning (Arabic letters in the name 'Adam'). Alif represents Allah! Alif, daal represents Adam, pointing to continuity. Meem is an ocean that is impossible to approach; it represents muntaha, the last point for you; for creatures, not for the Creator!

Azaliyun (existing from pre-Eternity, eternal) and abadiyun (existing to Eternity, everlasting). Alif is azali. Meem is mukammal, perfect. Daal is dawaam, continuity of the Lord's hegemony on everything created for the honor of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.) Creation is continuous, no one knows the beginning or ending, no one can approach for an understanding, even less or at least meaning of azaali, pre-Eternal and abaadi, Eternal. SubhaanAllah, subhaanAllah! Most high honor granted to dhawi 'l-`uqool, people of sound minds, who are granted enlightenment of intelligence, subhaanAllah! Even no one with that enlightenment can reach to pre-Eternal, azaliyyun, and Eternal, abadiyyun. And Allah Almighty grants Mankind such an honor for an understanding! And what is the main aim for understanding of the Lord of Heavens? All our obediency gives us a heavenly lightening.

There are five-hundred kinds of honor, ma ja`a bihi an-Nabi, what the message of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) came for, that the Seal of Prophets (s) taught to his nation, and every honor belongs to one order. If you are doing that honor, if you are asking to reach that honor, that honor belongs to this specific level of lightening. Each command, heavenly commands that the Seal of Prophets (s) granted and taught and declared, each one is making that person to reach that level of obediency, getting closer to the Divinely Presence!

The real meaning of all obediency is not to reach Paradise. Paradise people are on common levels of the ummah, but who are asking to reach more than those eight paradises will disappear in that One's glory and enlightenings! Therefore, a hadith that our Salafi `ulamas must know, about when the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammmad (s), (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.) was asked, Yaa Rasoolullah, maa afdalu 'l-`amaal? "O Messenger of Allah, what are the best deeds for our good dealings; what grants to people the highest honor?" And he (s) said, al-`ilmu billah, "Only Allah grants knowledge." SubhaanAllah, and Sahaaba (r) were astonishing. "We are asking about good manners and obediency, and Rasoolullah (s) is saying, al-`ilmu billah." That highest honor is not from our `amal, deeds; it is from something else. The real aspects of all `amal and obediency is to reach an understanding level of Who is the Lord of Heavens! Who is He?! You can't understand it until you annihilate (in the Divine Presence). You have cars, you have trains, you have planes, so is your real aspect to have a car, to have a train, to have a plane, or to use those things to take you from one city to another city?

Therefore, all maa jaa bihi an-Nabi that Prophet (s) was teaching his nation is not the target; it is not only to pray and fast and go to Hajj and give money, but beyond that, we are asking to reach something! Therefore, Prophet (s) was saying, afdalu 'l-`amaal, that includes all good deeds to take you to a level that you are in need of
. There you are a like a drop coming from clouds, reaching the ocean, and you are going to be the ocean! Fanaa fillah, baqaa billah, you are finished!!!

O People! Therefore, we must try to learn beyond ourselves! When we are only dust, what is remaining and for what are we on this planet, for what are we living, for which purpose are we taken away? Why is Allah Almighty giving a limited life here and taking that life from us? What is the real maqsad, aim? We must try to understand. Now we are, subhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Adheem, in the darkness of ignorance. People are never using what they have been granted as a heavenly honor; what we have been granted, we are not using it. We are putting there for people to look and say, "I have this." No, it is not for making a show, but you must use it to reach that level where your identity disappears and your real identity of heavenly beings appears. And after that divinely level, that is finishing in countless oceans and countless dominions. May Allah forgive us! Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar!

O People! It is a short time. O Salafi `ulamas! Say such a knowledge to people that they may stop their juhud, all their efforts, and they are changing towards the Divinely Presence. Here is an example: why Allah Almighty put baytullah, ka`abatullah, leaving everything and putting all attention there? Why are you not saying? If not knowing, you must ask someone who knows such things, warathatu 'l-anbiya, those who are inheriting from prophets (a), but it is not easy to find them. You say, "That one must come and teach me!" No, you must go and find them! They will be rabbani, heavenly ones, and you will be dressed in a heavenly uniform.

O Bishops and Rabbis! You are knowing in your books but you are not understanding. I am not understanding, until they are granting me to speak, then I am knowing something.

May Allah forgive me, forgive you, forgive everyone, for the honor of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.)

Fatihah.

(34 minutes) Enough.

(Mawlana Shaykh speaks with Shaykh Hisham Effendi on the phone.)
