3 January 2010 Lefke, Cyprus
(Mawlana Shaykh stands.)
Dastoor ya rijaalAllah, madad. La ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah, Sayyidina wa Nabiyyuna Mawlana Muhammad Rasulullah (s)! Zidhu yaa Rabbee, give more blesssings and praisings to your most glorified servant, Sayyidina Muhammad (s.) We are his weak servants, we are a weak ummah. Forgive us, maadharatana! You know our weaknesses! Forgive us, O our Lord, for the honor of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!
(Mawlana Shaykh sits.)
Thumma salaamu `alayk yaa saahib al-imdaad, qutb uz-zamaan, Master of this World, mutasarrif! We are asking also humbly, from your power that you have been granted by the Seal of Prophets, peace be upon him. We are taalib, asking to know something.
Welcome to you, whole people through east and west, whom they are asking from some secret realities for Mankind, for ourselves, because we are not yet knowing ourselves. We only have an identity, a name such as "Shaykh Hisham", "Shaykh Bihar", "Shaykh Nabeel", and I am looking at each one; they are shaykhs also, they are asking to know something, what is happening, because what is behind the veil is not open for ourselves yet. They are not able to look at what is behind the veil.
Welcome to you, O people from the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands.) No (other) nation now, only the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad (s.) Now look and try to learn something from hidden treasures of knowledge through Knowledge Oceans. As-salaamu `alaykum. Everytime that salaam is dressing you in safety, dressing you and taking from you the heavy burden of your physical being. Therefore, the Seal of Prophets was advising his nation to say as-salaamu `alaykum, as-salaamu `alaykum. (Through these words) a heavy burden is taken up from people in this life and making them to be a light, not a heavy being. Everytime you are saying as-salaamu `alaykum, taking the heaviness of your physical being and at the same time dressing a dress that is so light, you can carry. But people are changing theses holy words and saying through their languages so many words for saluting each other. It is only an imitated word that is never giving to you anything.
O People, subhaanAllah! We must say what they are sending, and we are asking for an understanding of every word that we are speaking. Their position is either going to be a light thing or a heavy identity. Allah Almighty created Mankind and granted them speech so that they may speak to each other. That is a big grant from Allah Almighty for the Children of Adam. So many words coming for understanding and their identities are different also. Either they are going to be a heavy burden or going to be very light being for that person. Some of them are heavy, some of them are very light. If you like to know if it is a heavenly grant to you when you are speaking, for every one of them you are going to be surrounded through easiness, making you up, and some of our words are going to be so heavy that coming on the personality of that person a very heavy position. Therefore, it is important for everyone to know when they are speaking, when they are saying something, they must think on it, if what they are speaking is making them very light to reach upper stations or making a person's heart to fall in a dark ocean.
Therefore, wasiyya (advice) of the Prophet (s) is, "O my nation, look what you are speaking. When you are speaking something and you feel it giving to your heart a darkness, leave it." Because they are coming down, down, down and entering a darkness of Creation, what some of them saying, "black holes". Some words are carrying you into black holes. If black holes hunting you and catching you, it is difficult to get out. Therefore, peace be upon him, the Seal of Prophets was saying, "O people, don't think that only your movement through your physical being is going to be action, but your words are also from your actions. And some words making you to fall down and some words making you to go up." That is the reason the Seal of Prophets was saying, "Beware what you are speaking."
(People ask,) "What is the matter with what we are speaking that we must try to change our speaking?" No, because each word represents something and is giving to people either from heaviness or from lightening. This is very important when you are speaking, you must know what you are saying and what your speech is bringing to you or to other people. Some words are a reason for bringing you pleasure, and some words for bringing you in darkness or bad luck. Look for your speech, it is the holy command of the Seal of Prophets (s). You must know what you are saying or what you are doing.
All doings are going to be in two kinds, speaking also; that is either making you lighter and to get up through your special power, to rise up. Therefore, some words giving to your spirituality a power and through that power your physical being and understanding are getting up, going to be so light. The opposite also, some words make you heavy, even in front of people you are going to be thrown away. You may say, "That person is not knowing how to speak, that one is hurting us, let him go away." Some words are making people to be thrown away from an honorable station, and some words are going to carry people to an enlightened world and an enlightened being and when you are speaking them, you are going to be taken in lights. And that is something that mostly people never hearing or knowing or thinking on it. So many people are speaking as they like and never differentiating, "What will happen if I say this? Yes, perhaps the out-looking is the same, but I am speaking of your inner being, your soul's being. Your spiritual being is quickly understanding and either it is falling down or rising up. Therefore, when the Prophet is giving an explanation for a believer, he is looking for what is hikmah; his looking brings to him wisdoms. And some of them taking you out from this important position that you are in, and then nothing is with you, finished.
O People, as-salaamu `alaykum once again! You may say it once, ten times, a hundred times, more or less; salaam gives you such a power to differentiate, to feel at least what is coming to you from spirituality. Therefore, we know what Allah Almighty is saying in the Holy Qur'an is dhikr, but everything that belongs to the reality of Holy Qur'an is also dhikr and is the reason the holy command is commanding Mankind, astaidhu billah. And the Lord of Heavens is saying, fadhkuroonee!
Where are you, O Salafi `ulama? They are saying dhikr is bid`a. "We are not saying bid`a, but we are objecting on it to be crowded as a circle to say, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah! And we are not making an objection on it, only we are saying when people say, la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasulullah, (Mawlana stands) alayhi salaatullah, la ilaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasulullah, alayhi salatullah, la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammad nabiullah alayhi salaatullah." (Mawlana sits.)
Why you are objecting on it and saying it is bid`a. Is that against Shari`atullah, against the Holy Qur'an's commands? Is the Holy Qur'an preventing you from saying la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasulullah? (Mawlana stands.) Preventing you? If not preventing, why you are saying for people doing dhikr it is bid`a? It is not true! What is wrong with standing up and saying, la ilaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasulullah? What is the matter? Which one giving you that fatwa to make an objection on it. No! That is not for you, you are on the wrong way! You must do through Holy Ka`aba, you must do in Madinatu 'l-Munawarrah loudly, to say la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammad Rasulullah. (Mawlana sits.)
So many people are reading books and thinking they are understanding, but they are understanding wrong. Wahhabi people are preventing believers from saying la ilaaha illa-Llah when they are coming to sit in a mosque saying, "This is bid`a." What is bid`a? There are seven actions, af `aal mukallafeen that a mu'min must know: fard, waajib, sunnah, mustahaab, mubaah, haraam and mubsit. That is Arabic, they should know. Which part you are going to say is haraam if a person is saying, la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasulullah. (Mawlana stands and sits.) You are going to be a kaafir. If it is makrooh, you are going to be makrooh, more than what you are saying. You are saying if people say, la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasulullah, it is going to become a harm. (Mawlana stands and sits.) What is the harm? What is your scale? That is the scale of Shari`ah we are learning and knowing. That knowledge is coming to us from you and now you are going to deny it? How? Every movement, action or effort that is coming from a person must be put in a scale, if it is fard, sunnah, waajib, mubaah, haraam, mubsit, makrooh. You are `aalim also, from the nation of Arabs, Shaykh Hisham Effendi. You are fighting with such ignorant people always in America, asking from where they are bringing that. From hadith, from Holy Qur'an, or bringing from Shaytan? What is that foolishness? You are trying to destroy Islam!
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Inna nahnu nazzalna 'dh-dhikra wa inna lahu la hafizoon.
Lo! We, even We, reveal the Reminder, and lo! We verily are its Guardian.(15:9)
How are you denying and making so many troubles for believers and dhaakireen? Very wrong! They are making dhikr.
I am nothing, but warning that if you are insisting on your baatil, perhaps up to next Muharram, no one is going to be in life. It can be, we are leaving `aalam al-imkaan, everything is possible. Don't say, "Can't be." No, it is possible. We must say, if we are wrong, punishment comes on ourselves, but if you are wrong, punishment and cursing comes on you also. It is a very important point for Muslims. They are going to be divided in two parts. One old-fashioned Muslims making dhikr as the Holy Qur'an says, and another group running away from the meanings of Holy Qur'an and Hadith and I am saying to them, our imaam is Sayyidi 'l-awwaleen wal-akhireen. Who is your imaam, say? (Shaykh Hisham says, "Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab.")
After 1200 years you are making him into a new prophet, and are you saying that for twelve centuries mu'mins were on the wrong way and only Abdul Wahhab was on the right way? How can this be? It can't be, and we are not accepting you as long as you are in haramayn ash-shareefayn and saying things against Ahlu'l Sunnah wa’l-Jama`ah (The People of Sunnah and the Majority.) We are not going to Hajj or visiting the Prophet (s.) We are fearing from Allah, and we are not going to see your faces or hear such nonsense against the ummah of 1200 years being on the wrong way and Abdul Wahab being on the right way! How many people are going to follow Abdul Wahab? 1 million, 3, 5, 50, 100 million? How many? What about ummatu 'l-habeeb? One-billion-and-a-half are following you or following holy books? It is mentioned in Islam and in the holy books, you must look at them and accuse yourself. More clear to say, one-hundred million on one way, and ten-million people in other group, the question that some Sahaaba (r) were asking the Prophet (s,) "Which one must we follow?" And the Prophet (s) was saying, alaykum bi 's-sawaadi 'l-aazham. Wrong? Say it is wrong! InshaaAllah, you may not live up to the end of this year.
`Aqlan wa naqlan, two ways of using Islam, `aql what you are accepting, and naql, what you are admitting. One through the Seal of Prophets (s) was addressing people and saying, "O People! If anything happens, this is information for the ummah, that in future if the ummah is going to be in two parts (mainly there are some small parts but we are not speaking on that, but on the big crowding,) one of them is bigger than the other one and the first one is very a small group and the big one is in a multitude. And if a person is wondering to follow this one or that one, the Prophet is saying, `alaykum bi 's-sawaadi 'l-`adham, "Where the majority of ummah is, follow them." How many Wahhabi people are there now through east and west? Say you have 100 million, 200, 300, or maybe we may say 500 million, but those following the Prophet's way, sunnatan Rasool, salawaatullah wa salaam `alayh, they are a billion. You may be half-billion but you must follow the one-billion people. If you are not doing this, you are going to have a big responsibility for yourself and the people who are following you and cheated by you.
What is the value of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab in front of the Seal of Prophets (s)? What he was bringing to the ummah? Anything new? Except for destroying cemeteries and tombs, and I am astonished, if a building on a grave is munkir, haraam, that they destroyed everything through Jannat ul-Baqi`ee (cemetery of Companions in Madinah) and Jannat ul-Mu`alla (cemetery of Companions in Mecca), but are leaving the Prophet (s) under the tomb!!! If it is munkar, why are they leaving the Prophet to carry this heavy burden on himself? Why not destroy it? If anyone is trying to bring it down, they may come and do. Why should a big munkar be on the Prophet (s)? If the Prophet is saying it is haraam, why you are leaving the Prophet to live under a haraam place? And some of them, if anyone is in a tomb, are not visiting to pray there, going to pray in Madinat al-Munawarrah. Don't come and don't visit and don't pray! Allah is looking at them and a weak one like me to speak on their behalf, because an naasu niyaam, people are sleeping, because dunya making them to sleep, dunya making them to say halaal is haraam and haraam is halaal.
May Allah forgives us!
Yaa ayyuha ' lladheena aamanu taqullaaha wa koonoo ma` as-saadiqeen.
O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true. (9:119)
"O People, be with true ones!" Allah Almighty is saying. I am humbly asking from Salafi `ulama, did you find any saadiq, truthful person to follow? Please give me his name, I will follow him also. If not, then you are on the wrong way and have lost your way, and are going to be a sinner. I am not asking someone that passed away some centuries ago. You are always advertising "Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab" to me; he was in his time, now I may go to him who is representing Abdul Wahab and say, "If you are on the right way, accept us." Do you think you can find such a one? Perhaps you are never hearing such questions, but there is someone and the lowest one on that way, and I am asking for true ones. You are saying you are on top positions. Who is on top positions from saadiqeen? Show me and I may go to him. I would like to know if I am wrong or I am right. Show me one saadiq, and if you are saying no more saadiqs, how may Allah Almighty ask to follow one who is not in existence? I am asking may he put a statue there and say, "He is a saadiq one," and pray to him. Nonsense! (laughter)
Allah will ask them, Prophet will ask them, Sayyidina 'Isa will ask them, Sayyidina Mehdi alayhi salaam will ask them, come and bring your proofs, evidence, qul hatoo burhanakum. This is from sadiqeen in Makkah, in Madinah, sharafuhumullah, or Riyadh, Najd, Shaam, Egypt, Libya, Maghrib. Where do you think the Lord of Heavens is ordering His servants to follow idols? If that one is not in existence, how is Allah Almighty ordering:
كُونُواْ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ
koonoo maa` as-sadiqeen.
...be with those who are true (in word and deed). (9:119)
How is He ordering? Show me. I am going to make a case against you and you make a case against me. May Allah forgive me, forgive them, and give us a good understanding. That is deenullah. No one can play with it; Allah Almighty is never accepting that. Therefore, He is going to send someone as haakamun `adil, to give His last judgement between us and Najdiyoon, followers of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab.
May Allah forgive us for the honor of the most honored one in His Divine Presence, (Mawlana stands) Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!
Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah
Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, SubhaanAllah
Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah
Allah forgive us and make us not to be on wrong ways. As You promised when the Last Days are approaching, send someone to make clear to Your followers to show them which one is on the true way and which on the wrong way. O our Lord, forgive us!
