A Heavenly Warning

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

27 August 2010   Lefke, Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh stands)

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah

(Mawlana Shaykh sits) Thumma salaatu wa salam, alfu salaat, alfu salaam ala Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa ’l-`Akhireen, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits) Dastoor yaa RijaalAllah, madad.

O our Attenders! As-salaamu `alaykum. Try to be rijaalAllah, heroes for Allah! Try to be dressed in heavenly  “hero-ness," then whoever looks at you, his heart must tremble! There is coming such a new generation that will be dressed with such power from Heavens, and they are the armies of Sayyidina Mahdi (a)! As-salaamu `alaykum! As-salaamu `alaykum! Yaa Rabbana ija`l min junoodun junood Allah, “O our Lord! Make us from the servants of Allah that are strong, supported followers.” Allahu Akbar!

Good tidings from Heavens are reaching daily more than before; speedily they are approaching to clean this dirty world from Shaytan and its followers. Don't be from those rubbish people. People are of two kinds: one kind is precious, and the second is from rubbish. Does a housekeeper keep what she sweeps into the dustbin, as if it is precious?

O People! From east to west, a brush for cleaning this world is coming, as it has become so dirty! That one who is rubbish will be taken away, with no way of escape. We are reaching the limits of the life of dunya, and the Day of Resurrection is now approaching. Before, perhaps the names of billions of Mankind were written as rubbish ones, and they will be taken! A cleaning is coming now, so try to be from clean ones. Perhaps this Ramadan may be the last Ramadan for making good ones on one side and rubbish ones on the other side. Allahu Akbar! Rubbish ones are those who are following Shaytan and its army. They are dirty, rubbish ones, and they will be taken and put in the WC (bathroom). That is heavenly news that they are making such a weak servant declare in this holy month for all the Muslim world, and also the unbelievers’ world. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. We do not claim to be clean ones, but we are asking for cleanliness!

O our Attenders! Give time for your Creator, even some minutes, and it will be good for you. If you are not giving even some minutes, your name is going to be written with rubbish ones. The Lord of Heavens never likes rubbish ones. They may be Muslims, Christians, Jewish, Chinese, Hindus, Africans, Native Americans, or Australians.

O People! Listen to a heavenly addressing! I am like you; I am not claiming I am this or that one, no! But I am only appointed as a weak servant, as a warner to make people wake up, and that is all. Those who are following their egos, their rides, those whose interest is only eating, drinking, and dressing, their names are under the table of rubbish ones.Try to have your name written under the table of pearls, diamonds, rubies, and emeralds! Why leave your name to be written under the table of rubbish ones? And how many kinds of rubbish do you know? (Mawlana Shaykh addresses someone in the audience: "Don't move, such a thing is cutting our line from the Heavens.") And what is rubbish? There are so many kinds of rubbish from all walks of life. What you put in the WC is rubbish also, dirtiness. It is going to be a classification, "This belongs to first-class WC people."  O People! Look at which kind of rubbish you may be! They may say, "Ohh, we are not rubbish." You do not know if you are rubbish or not, because you can't walk without drinking whiskey, and  drunk people never understand as they are heedless people.

O People! Wake up and try to be clean. This holy month is coming to make people clean. Don't travel in sewage channels! People are mostly saying, "We take a bath everyday and we are not dirty ones." Dirtiness is not in your physical being, but it is in your self, because you are not believing in the Lord of Heavens or following His holy orders, and that is dirtiness for you! You may take a bath 50 times a day, but you are still dirty ones! May Allah forgive us.

O People! I fear a cleaning is coming to all nations. Now they are making me declare heavenly warnings. Be careful, beware that a hurricane is coming and looking for some ones to take up! But some have been protected. Beware! Holy revenge is coming as hurricanes to those who are not following holy commands and it will take him from Earth!

This is a holy month. I don't know what is going to happen after this holy month, but they are sending heavenly inspirations to my heart that after Ramadan there may be so many unexpected things. The first cleaning will come on Muslim communities who are not taking cleanliness in this holy month. Hurricanes are coming now in so many Muslim countries, beginning first with them and then coming secondly to other religious people, Christians and Jewish people, then to Hindus, Chinese, and Japan! The Lord of Heavens, and those who have been granted such knowledge, know that hurricanes are approaching after this holy month and taking billions of people!

May Allah forgive us. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Aamantu billah, "We believe in our Lord," and what is the real truth. We believe in His Last Prophet (s) who has been sent from the Heavens to warn people and to make them clean. People of Ahlu ’l-Sunnah wa ’l-Jama`ah and Shi`a people are also warned, if they are not keeping and accepting truth, those hurricanes will come on them, taking so many sleeping at night, that in the morning you can't find their bodies!

O People! We are not saying this and joking with you; it is Truth! I am trembling from heavenly punishment or revenge, and I am fearing! I am not making an exception for myself, but all nations must ask for heavenly protection; if not, it will be too difficult to save them! May Allah forgive us for the honor of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits)

Fatihah.

That is something that was never heard before, and it is important. Astaghfirullah.

(Mawlana Shaykh stands and sings)

Allahuma salli wa sallim `ala
Nabiyina Muhammad `alayhi 's-salaam.
Salaatan tadoomu wahtoohda `ilayh
ma marra 'l-layaali wa toola 'd-dawaam.
O Allah! Pray and send peace on
our Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace!
Praises everlasting, to which all are guided,
as long as the nights and as long as the days!

Fatihah.

Say, "If you love Allah, follow me (Muhammad). Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (`Aali Imraan, 3:31)

Allah (swt) told Prophet, "Say, 'If you want to love Allah, follow me (Prophet) and Allah will love you.'"

أصحابي كالنجوم، بأيّهم اقتديتم اهتديتم

Ashaabee ka 'n-nujoom bi ayyihim iqtadaytum, ihtadaytum

My Companions are like stars. Whichever of them you use as a guide, you will be rightly guided.

ya ma`ashar al-muslimeen, `alayna bi ittiba` ash-haabi rasoolullah, haythu .. hum wa nahnu lahum shaakireen. haythu qaala: in kuntum tuhiboonAllah, fatabi`oonee yuhbibukumullah. And we took Islam from the Sahabah (r), we didn't get it directly, so we have to respect them. Some of them were khulafah, dressed in this responsibility, as Sayyidina Abu Bakr (r) and Sayyidina `Umar (r) and Sayyidina `Uthman (r) and Sayyidina `Ali, karam-Allahu wajha.

Today we have something to say about Sayyidina `Ali (r) as Prophet (s) said, "I am the city of knowledge and `Ali is its door." What is the door? If you want to come to a house, you need to go through its door. if you want to come to a fortress, where people are living now as in old cites, you cannot enter except through the door. And Allah (swt) said:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَهْلِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
Yaa ayyuhaa al-ladheena amanoo laa tadkhuloo buyootaan ghayra buyootikum hattaa tasta'nisoo wa tusallimoo `alaa ahlihaa dhaalikum khayrun lakum la`allakum tadhakkaroon.
O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better for you, in order that you may remember.
(An-Nur 24:27)

The best house is the heart of Prophet (s)! That is why you must not turn your back when you visit the Prophet (s) in Madinah, but remain facing the holy grave, as they tell you today.

Imam Malik (r) taught, "Face the shrine as this is the one who taught you, this is your Lord and Creator, and that house is the Prophet, and that focus of manifestations of Divine Light is the heart of Prophet, and the Prophet said:

انا مدينة العلم و علي بابها

Anaa madeenatu'l-`ilmi wa `aliyyun baabuhaa.

"I am the city of knowledge and `Ali is its door."

أنا أول من يجلس بين يدي الرحمن للخصومة يوم القيامة
anaa awwal man yajlis bayna yadayy ar-rahman li 'l-khusooma yawm al-qiyaamat.
Imam Bukhari (r) mentioned that Prophet (s) said, "`Ali is the first one to enter the Presence of Allah, and of those who are taken in by the Prophet, none of those are to be thrown away!"

We don't want to be of those thrown away, so what to do? Come with adab and respect, knock at the door and it will open. That door is so important that ibn Asakir (r) related from ibn Abbas (r), who is the most important and knowledgable of the interpreters of the Holy Qur'an, said, nothing was revealed in the Book of Allah, as much as was related about Sayyidina `Ali, radi-Allahu ta`ala anhu wa arda. Three-hundred verses were revealed about him, all of them speaking of the importance of Sayyidina `Ali and his honor.

wa kayfa la wa huw akha rasoolullah fil-muakhah, wa sihruhu `alaa fatimah.
How would it not be so when he is the "cousin brother" and son-in-law of
Prophet (s)?

Sayyida Fatimah (r) said, "I will not accept to marry Sayyidina `Ali without my dowry."
Prophet (s) said, "What is the dowry you are asking?"
She said, "I am asking forgiveness for the whole ummah of Prophet!"

Allah (swt) was happy with that, and sent Sayyidina Jibreel (a) to tell Prophet to accept her condition. One lady will take whole ummah to Paradise! And she is not normal lady. One lady is making shafa` for the whole nation, so what then do you think of the shafa` of the Prophet (s)?! It means more and more blessings will be dressed on the ummah!

And Sayyidina `Ali (r) was one of those who put together the Qur'an when it was being revealed, and he showed it to Prophet (s), who told them where to put each verse and chapter, and the names of the surahs. Sayyidina `Ali was involved in that. Umm Salamah (r), wife of Prophet (s), said that Prophet (s) said:
علي مع القرآن والقرآن مع علي لن يفترقا حتى يردا علي الحوض
 `Aliyyun ma` al-Qur'an wal-Qur'an ma` `Ali, laa yaftariqaan hatta yaridaa `ala al-hawd.
"`Ali is with the Qur'an and Qur'an is with `Ali, and they will not separate in this life until they come to the Prophet at the Fount." (al-Hakim in his Mustadrak, saheeh, Tabaraani in his Awsat)

And that is the river that is a blessed river, that no one can describe the water that is in it.

When Prophet (s) went in Mi`raaj, he saw a huge lion in Paradise and he asked, "Who is that lion?"
Sayyidina Jibreel (a) said, "That is `Ali asaadullah al-ghaalib, 'the Lion of Allah who will swallow Shaytan'."

Prophet (s) said, "And Sayyidina `Ali (r) is with the Qur'an" and (he said) "the heart of Qur'an is YaSeen" and (he said) "the heart of Qur'an is Fatihah."

We call it "water," but no one knows what it is. At that time, at Kawthar they will separate, not separate apart but each will go to his respective level. What is the meaning of, `Ali asaadullah al-ghaalib? Allah described him as His lion in His paradises.

The heart of Qur'an is Prophet (s), and as mentioned:
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
Innaa anzalnaahu fee laylati al-qadr.
Lo! We revealed it on Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Predestination
(27 Ramadan)." (al-Qadr, 97:1)

So the heart which can carry the Qur'an is the Qur'an itself. So He is YaSeen as he was described by that, and that means the Prophet is the Qur'an!
law anzalnaa haadhaa al-Qur'ana `alaa jabalin lara'aytahu khaashi`aan mutaşaddi`aan min khashyatillah.
Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder (shatter to dust) by the fear of Allah!
(Al-Hashr, 59:21)

The Qur'an was revealed to Prophet (s) in Laylat al-Qadr, and he didn't shatter! The one who can carry what that mountain and universes cannot carry, the Qur'an, is Sayyidina Muhammad! He is "YaSeen," the heart of Qur'an, and `Ali is the door to Qur'an, and Sayyidina Abu Bakr (q) is saahib, the closest Companion. You can have hundreds of saahibs, but only one went for hijrah with Prophet from Mecca to Madinah. So these two are the ones about whom Allah (swt) revealed so many verses of Qur'an.

That does not mean He didn't reveal verses of Qur'an about Sayyidina `Umar (r) and Sayyidina `Uthman (r). About Sayyidina `Umar (r), Prophet said, "If there was a prophet to come after me, it would be `Umar." Sayyidina Uthman is the "Possessor of Two Lights," who married two daughters of Prophet (s), and no one else has that distinction.

Kings and Leaders: Be Generous with Allah's Servants!

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

25 August 2010    Lefke, Cyprus

Dastoor yaa Sayyidee! (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Laa ilaaha illa-Llah. Laa ilaaha illa-Llah. Laa ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasoolullah `alayhi salaatullah, `alayhi salaamullah, `alayhi rahmaatullah! Allahuma zid wa baarik habeebika Sayyidi 'l-awwaleen wa ’l-akhireen,Sayyidina Muhammad (s) , `izzan wa sharafan nooran wa suroora, ridwaanan wa sultaana . Wa `ala saa'iri'l-anbiya wa 'l-mursaleen wa man tabi`ahum bi ihsaan ila yawmi 'd-deen. Ya Rabbee zid wa baarik w 'a`fuw `anna fee ridaak, yaa Rabbi 'l-`alameen. Subhaan sen! Sultaan sen! (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. O our Lord! Save Your weak servants from Shaytan and its helpers. I am sorry to address Allah Almighty with this. Astaghfirullah! I am saying this hundreds and thousands of times, "Forgive me yaa Rabbi 'l-`alameen, O our Creator!" But it is a holy order to ask protection from Shaytan from our Creator. Therefore, as a heavenly protocol, we must use it as He orders. And when we are saying, `aoodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem, an answer is coming from heavenly ones dictating to servants, (Mawlana Shaykh stands) "O our Lord's weak servants! Say, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, and don't worry." (Mawlana Shaykh sits) That is a heavenly protocol, therefore we must say, "`aoodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem," as the Seal of Prophets (s), the most glorified one, is also saying this.

O our Attenders! Take care, be a quiet believer, and your belief must be full of contentment. When you are saying, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem you must feel full contentment, without any doubt. If the weakest servant says, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, if all Creation were comprised of Shaytan's agents attacking you, still that weakest servant is going to be victorious! It is so powerful to say, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. If you are fearing from something, say, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, and that one will not only tremble but may fall down. And according to your faith, imaan, according to your certainty you will be supported.

O our Attenders! Don't be heedless ones. Open your eyes before closing down. A Day is coming in which your eyes are going to be closed and will never open, and your ears are never going to hear anything from anyone in this dunya. Your ears will be locked, your eyes will be closed, and your power will reach the point of zero, finishing. You are going to be like a statue, not seeing or not hearing as before. An opening will appear in which your connection to this life will be cut off, and you will find yourself in another Creation, in another world that you have never seen. Everything you know will change. That Day is coming for everyone, attenders! That time may come any time, any moment, any second. There is no amaan, not any guarantee. When it will come, no one will give you knowledge of it, and no one living on this planet can give you a guarantee. They are not saying, "O our king, don’t worry! Our president, don't worry! The richest one, don't worry! The strongest one, don't worry!" None can give you a guarantee.

O our Attenders! Beware of passing away from this world at any time. Our life is between two breaths, one inhaling and one exhaling. Beware! Don't be cheated by Shaytan and its agents. Common people, come and listen, and take your care! Your care! Any time we may leave and no one can bring us back again. Therefore, every day they are making me shout at common people, and also for those who are making a show of themselves, who think, "We are with our kingdom, our sultanate, our treasures. We are not like common people, to be taken away so quickly!" Shaytan is teaching them.

O People! One of the sultans appointed one person, who he ordered to say often, "O your Majesty! Don't forget that you are going to die!" And when that sultan was walking with greatness and pride, when he heard that reminder, he held his held low, in humility. All majestic ones are attacked by their egos, and Shaytan urges them to proclaim, "I am such a king, emperor, sultan, so great!" It is given that way to the hearts of kings or sultans, to make them fall down. They claim when they look in the mirror, "I am such a majestic one, yes!" Shaytan is blowing on such sultans or kings to make them think they are important ones. Leave it! That sultan was clever and ordered that one to remind him, "You are going to die!"

The last Ottoman sultans followed Holy Shari`ah, and that is a high level for anyone to reach and to make his highest ta`zheem, glorification. Ordinary people are not taking care, so Shaytan comes to top-level people, saying, "Look, all these continents are for you! Look, all those people salute you, giving their high respects! You must see your importance, that no one is reaching your level." The Ottoman Empire emperors came to Jumu`ah prayer and their soldiers shouted, Padishaham gurrun lan mar, "O our Sultan! Don’t be proud of your sultanate! You must know that a heavenly sultanate is covering you, and there are thousands, millions, billions, and trillions of kings and sultans in the heavenly sultanate. All of you are going to be less than an ant. Don't be proud! (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Allah is Greatest, Most Majestic, and Most High!" That reminder made the sultan lower his head in humility.

Now in our time, there are so many imitated-title people who claim to be something, and they are nothing! That is the cause of all trouble that 21st-century people are falling into, the endless problems, endless sufferings and miseries! Shaytan is telling them, "You are the biggest one, the greatest one among people." Leaders are trying to put people under their feet. The most dangerous bad characteristic is to say, "I am something," and to be proud!

O our Attenders, especially Salafi `ulamas! You must say in every Friday khutbah, "O Jalaalatul Malik, O Majestic King! Don’t think that you have reached a level that no one can be above. That is from Shaytan!" That will make Shaytan fall down, because he was so proud. And so many kings and emperors just fell down and were cursed from Heavens because they were saying, hal hunaka ahadun mithluna, "Is there anyone higher, more majestic than me?" Shaytan tells them, "Look, can anyone can be like you? You are the king and they are your servants." Hasha, never! Kings, first of all, must say, "O our Lord! We are Your weakest servants. You are putting that honor, that crown on our heads because we are the weakest ones, not the most powerful ones!"

Pride is the fountain of trouble and suffering that Mankind is falling into and there is not any treatment for them. Therefore, particularly`ulamas, from that level you must stand up in front of your malik or your sultan or your emperor and say to him, "O `AbdAllah, Servant of Allah! Leave meaningless titles!" You can't say, "O our Lord's sultan," because Absolute Sultanate is only for the Lord of Heavens!

There are so many stories about causing people's heads to fall down. There was a famous khalifah, Haroon ar-Rasheed of Baghdad, may Allah (swt) bless him. Blessings come on people according to their good services. Man is offered just two things that the Prophet (s) and all prophets taught. "Try to be the most high ones in glorifying your Lord, to be on the first level. Take care for glorifying your Lord, Almighty Allah." And second, "Try to be a good one for all people so that people may say that you are a good one." Those are two pillars: one, to give your highest praisings to your Lord, to glorify His Majesty; and second, to be good to your Lord’s servants. Nothing else, that’s all the prophets were teaching.

Sultan Haroon ar-Rasheed was a good one for his Lord, Allah Almighty. He was trying to make good things for his nation as well, and to help the nation of Muhammad (s), Sayyidi 'l-awwaleen wa ’l-akhireen, (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits), to be happy. One day there was a person, "Bahlul Daana," who was never interested in dunya and its pleasures; his heart was always asking to be with his Lord Almighty Allah. Once he went to the palace of Haroon ar-Rasheed, looked around and said, "O Haroon," not, "O Majesty," as such titles are all imitated. "Haroon ar-Rasheed, this palace is very ornate."

"What are you saying?" Haroon addressed Bahlul Daana.

"O Haroon, here in this is dunya, you are living in such magnificent ornamented palaces. This is good for you only in dunya, but you will so happy and lucky to find such beautiful palaces when you pass away! But what if you do not find them? Think on it."

"O Bahlul! ansah lee, Give me some advice." He spoke so sweetly.

"Look, O Haroon, that is my advice to you. If you find such beautiful palaces there, you will be so lucky. If not, bad tidings for you. You will be the most lost one because you have been granted such things in this life that you cannot carry with you after your death. You will be unlucky."

"O Bahlul! zidnee, Say more for me, some good advice."

Bahlul stood and said, "O Haroon ar-Rasheed! These are your ancestors' palaces and their tombs. It is enough for you. Yesterday they sat here, now they are sleeping under the Earth. Don't be cheated by shaytanic ideas. Today you are here as your ancestors once were, and tomorrow you shall be as your ancestors are lying there now!"

O Salafi `ulamas! Do not ignore the Lord's Command, fa dhakkir, "Remind everyone!" Particularly remind your kings, 'Don’t be cheated! You are going to be in that cemetery that is full." They were building something on their graves, but now your people, O Salafi `ulamas, are saying it is bida`. You are not leaving any stones, saying, "This is King Faisal, jalaalatu." There is nothing written (to mark the grave), so suddenly you will find yourselves under heaps of sand. Beware of Shaytan! You should always be a reminder for your kings and sultans, so they may give more charity before leaving this life and their wordly treasures.

May Allah forgive us. As-salaamu `alaykum.

(47 minutes) (880 viewers) Mashaa-Allah, Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar al-Allah. Yaa Rabbee, shukr!

(Mawlana Shaykh speaks with Shaykh Hisham Effendi on the phone.)

(Shaykh Hisham: Suhbah jameelah, beautiful suhbah! Every day in Kenya they are feeding 600 or more poor people in the name of Mawlana Shaykh and in 40 different villages in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, they are sending food to eat. (Mawlana sent money with Shaykh Hisham to create a system to help them by distributing food in Ramadan.) They are digging wells for water in villages as well. Nine are being dug, three are complete and water is coming out at 30 meters with strong pressure. They have put a place for prayer next to each well. There will be coming soon from there a man with photos to show Mawlana Shaykh the work. It was unexpected, to find water at shallow depths; that is not normal for that area.)

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: These will be named, "Shaykh Hisham Kabbani's Fountains!"

(Mawlana Shaykh prays two raka`at Salaat ash-Shukr.)

The last Ottoman sultans followed Holy Shari`ah, and that is a high level for anyone to reach and to make his highest ta`dheem, glorification.

He was trying to make good things for his nation as well, and to help the nation of Muhammad (s), Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa ’l-`Akhireen, (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits), to be happy.

"O Bahlul! ansahli, Give me some advice." He spoke so sweetly.

"Look, O Haroon, that is my advice to you. If you find such beautiful palaces there, you will be so lucky. If not, bad tidings for you. You will be the most lost one because you have been granted such things in this life that you cannot carry with you after your death. You will be unlucky."

"O Bahlul! zidni, Say more for me, some good advice."

(Mawlana Shaykh prays two raka'at Salaat ash-Shukr.)

Thumma as-salaatu wa 's-salaam `alaa Saahib az-Zamaan wa `alaa Qutb az-Zamaan wa `alaa a'immatuna fi turuqu 'l-`aliyya amidahum, yaa Rabbee bi madadin khaas, yaa Rabbana! (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

Eyyyy, hayyyyyy, eyyyyy, hayyyyyy

Eyyyy, hayyyyyy, eyyyyy, hayyyyyy

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Yaa RijaalAllah!

O Heavenly Ones! O Holy Ones! O Clean Ones! Send us from your heavenly support. We are weak ones, asking in this holy month more heavenly support for winning over our egos. We are trying to take away our egos’ dirtiness. Our egos are working in dirtiness. Our egos are never asking to be clean ones, but always asking for dirtiness. May Allah send His heavenly cleanliness to His weak servants. Really, O our attenders, we are not weak ones because who is granted to say, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, is never going to be a weak one! That is such a big grant that no one can reach the limits of that grant. Astaghfirullah. Allah Almighty is saying, asta'eedhu billah (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

وَخُلِقَ الإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفًا

Wa khuliq al-insaanu da’eefa.

Man is created weak. (4:28)

(Mawlana Shaykh sits) SadaqAllahu 'l-`Adheem.

O our Attenders! Don't be heedless ones. Wake up, particularly Salafi `ulamas who are giving such a title for themselves that it shows they think they are not weak ones! Yes, they say, "We are `ulamas," and yet you are weak ones. Don't forget that you are a weak Creation. You may use a title, but mostly titles are giving people an idea that they are important, and they say, "We are something, we are important ones! How can we accept that we are weak ones?"

Shaytan is saying to them, "Use a title that removes your weak status."

And Allah Almighty is saying, wa khuliq al-insaanu da`eefa. SubhaanAllah! He is not saying, khalaqtu al-insaan da`eefa, but He is saying wa khuliq al-insaanu da`eefa. Because Allah Almighty is saying, (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً
innee ja`ilun fi 'l-ardi khaleefah.
I am appointing a deputy on Earth.
(2:30)

Khalifah is chief, so how is he going to be weak? (Mawlana Shaykh sits) Feehee nazar. They are asking me to ask Salafi `ulamas their opinion. Do you say that insaan is created da`eef? And ayatul-kareemah is saying, innee ja`ilun fi 'l-ardi khaleefah. khaleefah is never, never, never showing any sign of weakness. SubhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Adheem. Feehee nazar. We must ponder it. Insaan, Man, is created khuliq al-insaanu da`eefa. One meaning is coming now, that insaan was born so weak, as a newborn child is so weak, then his physical being is getting powerful, more powerful, more powerful, and he is standing up. Ajaa`ib. Wa khuliq al-insaanu da`eefa. First, Creation is from sperms of its dad, and this very weak thing makes a human being? When its creation is going to be perfect and complete, then dressing on him a dress, innee ja`ilun fi 'l-ardi khaleefah, to be Allah Almighty's deputy on Earth. That small one that is so weak can't be a khaleefah. Then, "We are making and giving to him what he needs from power." He is physically getting powerful and with his spirituality he is taking an honor to be deputy. Our physical being can't carry that honor, but our spiritual being can carry that great, grand honor, yes!

We are saying "weak servants." Do our `ulamas know what Shari`atullah is ordering? Say what the holy Shari`ah is ordering to you, O `ulamas! And say to kings or sultans what is holy Shari`ah's order. Say! Don't you know that Allah Almighty is ordering, "Help weak ones!" That is an order! When Allah Almighty is saying, khuliq al-insaanu da`eefa, first of all, that command is coming to that child's father and mother to look after that weak one with high care. I am sorry to say that now, in the 21st century, people are bringing that baby at three days or one week, they are bringing that weak one to the door of churches, or orphanage doors, or city councils’ doors, saying, “We reached the high point of civilization,” but they are liars! The holy command of Allah Almighty is, “Help weak ones!”

That is why Allah Almighty is saying, wa khuliq al-insaanu da`eefa. It means, "Take the most care of the new Creation." It is the first heavenly command to kings, queens, umaraa, princes, shaykhs, rich ones, presidents, governments, and to all who have been granted power. Look after that helpless creature, that weak newborn that is thrown away! Take care of weak ones because they have been created weak and can't do anything. Take the highest care of those small ones!

Where is civilization? Doctors are cutting women (with Caesarian deliveries) and taking that new child `ajiz, weak ones, from the wombs of women and throwing them away. Thousands of such things are happening daily. And therefore, the Lord of Heavens is angry with people on Earth. Therefore, He is sending floods, fires, volcanoes, earthquakes, and unknown diseases as a punishment to make them weak, to taste the bitterness of weakness!

O People! Who are living from east to west, Islam is coming and living with rahmah, mercy! If there is no mercy, there is no Islam!

O Mankind! Take care of weak ones everywhere, that you are living and so proud that you reached the top point of civilization in the 21st century!

O Salafi `ulamas! Don't you know the holy hadith of the Seal of Prophets (s): (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

إرحموا من في الأرض يرحمكم من في السماء

Irham man fi 'l-ard yarhamakum man fi 's-sama.

Have mercy to those on Earth and the One in Heavens will have mercy on you.

Is this not a hadeeth; don't you know it? Where is your rahmah and your pity for people? You are looking only for your egoistic pleasures. (Mawlana Shaykh sits) And people from east to west, from north to south, billions of people are in the worst condition and no one is giving their pity for those poor people, for those weak creatures! Where we are living now, every day they are making me shout at those people who are saying, "We are Salafi `ulamas. We are Wahhabi `ulamas. We are doctors. We are Muslim authorities." That hadeeth must be written everywhere in golden letters: Irham man fi'l-ard yarhamakum man fi's-sama, "Give your pity to weak ones and needy ones and poor ones." Help them, then the Lord of Heavens will give you from His endless Mercy Oceans! If not, then ghadabullah, anger of the Lord of Heavens, will approach you, just as heavenly anger reached to the armies of Nimrod, taking them away! (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

وَمَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ

Wa maa dhaalika `ala 'Llahi bi-`azeez.

That is not at all difficult for Allah, Who has no equal. (14:20, 35:17)

Is this true, or not?! What do you think, O `ulamas? Maa dhaalika `ala 'Llahi bi-`azeez. Allah Almighty, Who has qaadiran mutlaq, Absolute Power, "I can do anything, and if you do not change your way, I will reach you with My heavenly anger!" (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

O People! This is a holy month and Allah Almighty ordered you to give to poor people. Don’t wait for poor people to come to you begging. No, you must reach out to them. That is real honor for you. Someone was saying about a person who was asking for charity from him, "Daily they are coming to ask, and we are giving our zakaat and sadaqah, but people are coming without end!”

That person was asking, “What are you giving from zakaat? You don’t know? I would like to hear from you.”

“We are calculating our gold and our riches; from 40, we are taking one and giving for the sake of Allah to poor people (i.e., one-fortieth of their wealth)."

The one who asked was very angry, saying, "You are not ashamed to give for Allah one from 40 and keeping 39 for yourself? Ptuu! Spit on you and your dishonored position!"

People now are in such a way. one person said, “Yaa Shaykh, leave them! If they are giving one from 40, it is enough. Don't quarrel with them.” But they are not giving even one from 40. And we are saying to those people, you are giving to the poor one from 40 and keeping 39 for yourself? One for Allah? How are you understanding Shari`atullah or Allah's Mercy for His creatures? You must say, "O my Lord! For You, all is for giving." How can you find people like this, in such a way? Shame on them! Shame! Where are those people who say, "O my Lord! I am taking one for myself and giving 39 for You." How can you find those people?

O Salafi `ulamas, you are rich people! Give for the sake of your Lord! May Allah forgive us.

O People! Allah Almighty is saying, "I must test My servants, how they are with Me, and how they are with dunya. What are they preparing for their dunya and what for Mawla? I must test and try My servants." And all holy ones, awliyaullah, are saying, “All those people are never passing from their lowest level up, not even one level.”

O Allah Almighty! Give us to taste the sweetness of Shari'ah! Send us someone from Your good people, from Your good servants, to teach us to live as You like. And may Allah forgive us for the honor of Your most beloved one (Mawlana Shaykh stands), and change us from bad ones to good ones, for the honor of the Seal of Prophets (s). (Mawlana Shaykh sits).

Fatihah.

(Mawlana Shaykh sings.)

Dome dome, dome dome, Dome dome, dome dome
Dome dome, dome dome, Dome dome, dome dome
Dome dome, dome dome, Dome dome, dome dome
Dome dome, dome dome, Dome dome, dome dome

Shaytan and his followers are never happy with such an addressing. They are very angry, and I am asking that their anger kills them!

(40 minutes) (860 viewers) Today is Sunday. May Allah forgive us.

(Mawlana Shaykh prays two raka`at Salaat ash-Shukr.)

Hierarchy of Saints Series, Vol 15

How to Enter Through the Door and Dwell in the City

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani

28 August 2010    Fenton Zawiya, Michigan

Fajr    Ramadan Series 2010

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.

Nawaytu 'l-arba`een, nawaytu 'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu 'l-khalwah, nawaytu 'l-`uzlah,

nawaytu 'r-riyaadah, nawaytu 's-sulook, lillahi ta`ala fee haadha 'l-masjid.

Madad yaa Sayyidee, Sultan al-Awliya Shaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa`iz ad-Daghestani
and Sultan al-Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani!

Ati`ullaha wa ati`u 'r-Rasoola wa ooli 'l-amri minkum.

Obey Allah, obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority among you. (4:59)

Those who are on authority are those who have the key for the door of the Prophet (s). These doors are too many; it is not one door, but to reach the main door there are too many doors until you reach the door of that city that we described in the previous session. Every door has the people who are attracted to it, to go to main door, and these are awliyaullah receiving from Prophet and they came to him through one door, what the Prophet (s) described:

انا مدينة العلم و علي بابها

Anaa madeenatu'l-`ilmi wa `aliyyun baabuhaa.

"I am the city of knowledge and `Ali is its door."

They will go in through that main door, and inside they will find the one who is with Prophet (s) always, that one who migrated with him from Mecca to Madina, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (q)!

That means, if you want to reach that city it is easy: first use dhikrullah that Prophet showed to Sayyidina `Ali (q). We described it yesterday as laa ilaha illa-Llah, when Prophet said to Ali, "Close your eyes and listen to what I say," and he said, laa ilaha illa-Llah, three times. Why three times and not four, or four times and not two? li-anna Allahu witrun wa yuhib al-witr. "Allah is 'One' and He loves everything to be with odd numbers." Of reciting laa ilaha illa-Llah three times, the first recitation is to negate, deny and throw out of the heart everything from dunya. You are saying, "Yaa Rabbee! I am directing myself to You by throwing away dunya and coming to You!" The second recitation of la ilaha illa-Llah means, "I am coming through your beloved, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!" And the third recitation of laa ilaha illa-Llah is to come through the door where Sayyidina `Ali is standing. That is the code of, "I am the city of knowledge and `Ali is its door."

That is the three parts of the key. And when that door opens, that is something else. Like on Hajj, on the day of Arafat before everyone comes, they open Ka`aba to wash it and what is inside? That door is the Ka`aba that is in everyone's heart, where there are guardians. Sayyidina `Ali, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, and Sayyidina Muhammad (s) are there! When you open the first lock, you enter there by the way that Prophet showed Abu Bakr as-Siddiq to come to Allah and to him. When you use that word, the door of Prophet opens, and from there you begin to see all these manifestations that are inside the Ka`aba.

Prophet (s) said to the Sahabah (r) and to Sayyidina `Ali (q) and to all Prophet's khalifahs:

ma fadalakum abu bakr bi shay'in min salaat wa sawam wa lakin hajattan fee qalbih.
Abu Bakr did not surpass you by offering excessive prayers and fasting, but by shay'in waqara fee qalbihi, something (unique) that entered his deepest, most inner heart.

That is something unique to Abu Bakr (q), that he used to approach more and more to Prophet (s) and to Allah ((swt)). That is what made him different from anyone else. (Mawlana sneezes.) That is confirmation of what we are saying, and that Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (q) is looking at us from his place.

So as we said, the Prophet (s) taught Sayyidina `Ali (q) Dhikr al-Lisaan, "Dhikr of the Tongue," by saying la ilaha illa-Llah, and he showed Sayyidina Abu Bakr (q) Dhikr al-Jinaan, "the Hidden (silent) Dhikr." This hidden dhikr is not through the tongue, as the tongue is the main door to enter. Then when you enter, you do dhikrullah by ismudh-Dhaat, Allah's most beautiful Name. This Name encompasses all Names that come under it, lafdhatul-Jalaalah, Allah. that is why Allah said in Holy Qur'an:

قُلِ اللّهُ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِي خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

qul Allah wa dharhum fee khawdihim yal`aboon.

Say "Allah," then leave them to plunge in vain discourse and trifling. ( Surat al-An`am, 6:91)

What is this? Is it a prediction of today's situation. SubhaanAllah! This is something new that is coming with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim's (q) madad. It was mentioned in the Holy Qur'an 1,400 years ago, that there will be people who will deny making dhikr by Ismu 'l-Jalaalah. Just as the ignorant people from the time of Prophet (s) denied the existence of Allah, there are people today who deny the mention of Allah by the heart, by using Allah's Name, saying it is bid`a, kufr, shirk, and haraam. Allah (swt) said to Prophet (s), "Don't listen to them, but instead say 'Allah', and don't care for them! Say Allah, Allah, as it has been mentioned in Holy Qur'an.

Look at what Allah's Azhaamat is telling us, "Say it and don't listen to them."

Why does He want the mentioning of "Allah", why not "ar-Rahman", "ar-Raheem", "al-Malik", "al-Quddoos", "al-Mu'min", or "al-Muhaymin"? Why "Allah"? Because Allah (swt) manifested upon every prophet one of His Beautiful Names; what He gives to that prophet is under that Divine Name, and He can manifest the same Name on many prophets of the 124,000 prophets. But Prophet Muhammad (s) is highest among all anbiya, so Allah gave him the highest Name and manifested Himself to Prophet by that Name. Therefore, all prophets have to be under him and as many Names as there are, they all have to be under that Name, "Allah, The One, Unique." They cannot all be under the Divine Names ar-Rahman, ar-Raheem, al-Qudoos, for example. These are different Names, different doors that you can go through.

Awliyaullah are inheritors from prophets. When they inherit from Sayyidina Musa (a), Sayyidina Lut (a), or Sayyidina Salih (a), it is from the manifestations of the Beautifiul Names they are under. And as long as there are awliya, there is always one on top, Sultan al-Awliya, as Sayyidina Muhyuddin Ibn Arabi (r) mentioned. Similarly, for anbiya there is the only one with the station Khatam al-Anbiya, "Seal of Prophets," and Sultan al-Anbiya, "King of Prophets." Prophet (s) gets something special on top of what he has. Also, he shares with all anbiya all what he receives. Other anbiya don't share; each of them is under a private Name. But Prophet (s) is under ism al-jam`i lil asma was-siffat. Allah is manifesting Himself to Prophet (s) through His Beautiful Name that encompasses all Beautiful Names and Attributes, "Allah".

So He said, "Say, 'Allah'." Why not say "ar-Rahman"? Because ar-Rahman is a description, an adjective; "Allah" is the main Name. He (swt) said, "Come to Me directly through the Name "Allah" as there is no obstacle for you, yaa Muhammad (s)! All My doors are open to you and I brought you in Mi`raaj to dress you with that Name!" The proof that Prophet (s) is under that Name is in Holy Qur'an:

وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا

Wa annahoo lamma qaama `abdullah, yad`oohoo kaadoo yakoonoo `alayhi libada.

Yet when the devotee of Allah stands forth to envoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd.   (Surat al-Jinn, 72:19)

Is there anywhere else where Allah mentioned him as `abdAllah directly? That is exclusively for Prophet (s) and it means he is the one under the tajalli of that Name. Ashe is under that tajalli, how he is going to be called? `AbdAllah, "Servant of Allah;" that is the real `abd, the rest are imitation. What is he called, other than Rahmatali 'l-`Alameen, "Mercy to all the Worlds"? Every scholar you ask will say Prophet (s) is al-Insaan al-Kamil, "the Perfect Human Being." There is no other Insaani Kamil, there is only one, the Prophet (s). Allahuma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! That Beautiful Name has been described in Surat al-Ikhlaas, qul yaa Muhammad. Allah (swt) revealed:

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

Qul Huw Allahu Ahad.

Say (O Muhammad), "He is 'Allah', The One, Who has no partner."  (al-Ikhlaas, 112:1)

Say "Allah," qul Huwa, "The One Who Is completely Unknown," Whose reality of that Essence cannot be known, except under the Name, "Allah." All the descriptions from the Beautiful Names and Attributes come under that. But in reality, His Essence, the Absolute Unknown, the Hidden, is "Allah", and He is "Ahad". "Allah" is higher than "Ahad," the description. Say, "Allah, the One with no partner, no child, no description of Him;" that is "Allah".

  وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا

Wa annahoo lamma qaama `abdullah, yad`oohoo kaadoo yakoonoo `alayhi libada.

Yet when the devotee of Allah stands forth to envoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd.   (Surat al-Jinn, 72:19)

It means, "the One Who is also Unknown," as no one knows the Prophet's (s) rank or what Allah (swt) gave him. He is known as "The Only (real) `AbdAllah", because the Name "Allah" means "Tthe One Who is Absolute Unknown", so the one who is under that Name is Muhammad (s), "al-Insaan al-Kamil." That Name, al-`Ism ash-Shareef, is the Holy Name put to describe The Essence, to give The Esesence a Name, which is "Allah." But to understand that Name is impossible, so you understand through the other holy descriptions. "Allah" is described through all the Godly Attributes, Asma ar-Ruboobiyya, the Names of Lordship, al-Jalal, "The Majestic", al-Jamaal, "The Beauty", and al-Kamaal, "The Perfection"; these are descriptions of Allah (swt).

Wa huwa `ismun lidh-Dhaat al-Buht, is the Name given to the Secret, the Essence. As close as you zoom in, it is the Name for that Absolute Unknown, al-`Ama al-Mutlaq. No one can see it, it is veiled. Even the Prophet (s) cannot see that Essence, although He is under the manifestation of that Name we just described, "Allah".

So the Name "Allah" is higher than all the Divine Beautiful Names. That is why Prophet (s) is higher than all prophets, as he is carrying the manifestation of that Name, and he is Rahmat`Ali 'l-`Alameen. He was dressed with that Name, and that is why all prophets will come with their nations asking for Prophet's (s) mercy, to give them shafa`a, to bless them and their nations. Why? Because he is under the manifestation of that highest Name which all other Names are under. It is considered in the Islamic Schools of Thought, especially in Hanafi madhhab, that Ismullah al-`Azham is the Name that Allah manifested on His Prophet (s).

Sayyidina Musa (a) asked, "Yaa Rabbee! Tell me, what is Your Greatest Name?"

Qala rabbee arinee andhur ilayk, qala lan taraanee wa laakin undhur ila al-jabali, fa inni 'staqarrra makaanuhu fasawfa taraanee, fa lamaa tajalla rabbuhu li 'l-jabali ja`alahoo dakka wa khara Musa saa'iqan, falamma aafaaqa qaala subhaanaka tubtoo ilayk, wa anaa awwal al-mumineen.

He said, "O my Lord! Show Yourself to me, that I may look upon You." Allah said, "By no means can you see Me (directly), but look upon the mountain; if it abides in its place, then you shall see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the mount, He made it as dust, and Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses, he said, "Glory be to You! To You I return in repentance, and I am the first to believe." (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:143)

He said, "O Allah! Let me see you. Let me know Your Greatest Name," and all prophets asked that. But Allah (swt) said, "O Musa! That is not for you, that is only for My Beloved, Sayyidina Muhammad. So what is for you? Look at the mountain." He sent His manifestation on the mountain and Sayyidina Musa fainted, because he trespassed his limit. In Mi`raaj, Sayyidina Jibreel (a) said to Prophet (s), "I cannot go further. I cannot cross this limit, but you can go further." But Sayyidina Musa asked to cross the limits, and Allah taught him a lesson.

فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ

Wa lamma afaaq qaala suhaanaka tubtu ilayk.

When he woke up he asked forgiveness. (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:143)

That is when he realized that is for Muhammad.

In his tafseer, Ibn `Abbas (r) said, "When Musa fainted, he saw all the prophets in sajdah, except for the 313 who were standing in prayer." So it is not a sin for them, but it is a limit not to transgress. "That is for My Beloved one, Sayyidina Muhammad!"

According to Sayyidina Abu Hanifa an-Nu`man's (r) madhhab, that Name is the exclusive manifestation for Prophet only; no one can share it. That is why he was able to go on Mi`raaj. If he was not carrying `Ismullah al-`AAzham, he would have fainted, but because he was carrying that he was able to go through.

So what is our luck? In Naqshbandi Tariqah, your dhikr is "Allah". They take you there directly. As soon as they give you initiation, if that shaykh is real and connected, as soon as you put your hand, you enter in that unique area and you are inside. You pass through the door of Sayyidina `Ali (q), who says, "He is our guest, let him in." Like with Sayyidina Muhammad (s) when he went in Mi`raaj with Jibreel (a); at each Heaven, they knocked. Angels asked, "Who is with you, Jibreel?"

Sayyidina Jibreel answered, "Muhammad."

Then they asked, "Is he invited?"

"Yes," replied Jibreel.

Do you think that angels don't know he is invited? Of course, but this is to show more honor. When you take initiation, it means you are invited.

O People! Who are listening or not listening around the world, if you take baya` by Internet or by a representative, that means you have an invitation to enter that city. You have your name there like a name tag on your chest, you have that medallion. Come in, you are invited. Allahuma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad!

We try to remind ourselves of the person on whom Allah manifested the ism udh-Dhaat by making dhikr with the Name "Allah" as ordered by our shaykh. What does that Name represent? It represents, The One Who created the Perfect servant." When Adam (a) was between clay and water or between body and soul, that is the perfect human being who is accumulating from the Divine Name, "al-Jami`i," containing all different levels. He is containing kull al-maraatib al-Ilaahiyyah, all different Divine Levels. That is the reality of that perfect human being. Heavenly world, malakoot and worldly universes, mulk, alike, he is carrying all universes' secrets, as he is under the tajalli of ismullah al-`Azham. All minds, souls, and hearts of human beings are under his control, under his keyboard. He can see every one of them by their heavenly name. All universes, worldly and heavenly, are under him. They are created by Allah (swt) and are under the blessing of that Name. Prophet (s) is khalifatullah fee mulkih, khalifah of Allah in His Creation. So he represents Allah in every Creation, in Heaven and Earth.

We shall continue that tomorrow inshaa-Allah. This might not be even one drop of the ocean of awliyaullah. We can see how great and strong awliyaullah are, and how weak we are. This will show that we know nothing; the knowledge comes and goes, and we cannot repeat it. These cameras can repeat it, but we cannot. It is in our heart, downloaded, but it needs someone who has the key and is able to upload. The heart is getting it, but because we are not awake it feels like a dream. Sometimes you remember the dream, sometimes you don't. If you remember, it is good, and if you don't, it is also good. Because when they take you to higher levels, they close dreams for you. That is good tidings in tariqah. As much as you don't know, they keep giving to you in slow doses, but when it becomes a big dose, you might be finished. If they leave you, you might go crazy, then you would drop everything, and they allow that only for a few people. But for everyone else, if Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) would open what you have in your heart, you could not take it and you would run away. You would be in a heavenly coma, always staring at something invisible. Wake up! No, he is not there anymore. So they give it to you slowly, slowly.

At beginning of tariqah, they show you so many dreams, to close you down. What do you want to see dreams for, to grow the ego? They give you dreams in the beginning to attract you, but when you reach the other shore, they destroy the boat. As in Holy Qur'an, when Sayyidina Musa was with  Khidr (a), they went in a boat and he made a hole. When it reached the other side, it was sinking. The king didn't need it anymore. They take you with ego to the other side like that boat, but they make a hole and when it reaches to the other side, the boat begins to sink. That way, you cannot go back! Then they chain that person, he gets angry. Where does he run? He cannot, he is chained.

So what if the shaykh shouts at you? Keep quiet, don't show him anything now. There is no bridge to bring you back to where you were before. Now you are in the minefield and you have to be clever. They put you in a minefield and say, "Cross it." How will you cross? You need a plan. What is the plan? It is dhikrullah; that will make you cross the minefield! And all of that has to enter where? Into baytullah. All of that is coming in baytullah, where people are circumambulating. That baytullah in your heart is a duplicate of Ka`abatullah in Mecca. That is to make sure that your home becomes mazhar tajalliyaat min `al-asmai wa 's-sifaat, "the Light (or appearance) of Manifestations of Allah's Beautiful Names and Attributes." When your heart is like that, it is ameenan, safe. Allah's houses are hearts of believers. "Neither Heaven nor Earth contains Me, but the heart of a believer contains Me." Enter your heart, your "inn;" then you are safe. Say, "Allah"! Say, "laa ilaha illa-Llah!"

Salaam to all. May Allah bless you one-by-one, and may Mawlana Shaykh be happy with all of you.

Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
