Dastur ya RijalAllah, madad, astaghfirullah. Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaha illa-Llah w'Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa lillahi ‘l-hamd. Ya Rabbana, Anta Rabbuna, Anta hasbuna, Anta waliyyuna, Anta maulana wa nahnu abiduka duafa muhtaajin... fagh firlana mamada ya wasi` al-karaami sabirna! Ya Rabbana, `ibaad bi jaahi habeebika Mustafa nahnu `abiduka du`afa fuqaraa muhtaajin! alfu salaat, alfu salaam ala'd-dawaam ala habeebu 'r-rahmaan, sayyidee 'l-awaleen wal-akhireen Sayyidina Muhammad, ishfa-` lana ya sayyidee 'r rusool-kiraam ishfa-`lana li annu shafa`tak matlooban, marghoobun wa makoolun shafa`tak la turaad, Ya Rasulullah!

As-salamu alaykum, our listeners, wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Allahumma al-himna rushdana bi jaahi nabiyyika Mustafa (s).

O our protector through life on this planet, master of this planet, qutb-uz-zamaan! We are running to you for heavenly support. Now we are so weak, so hopeless. We are in need of your support, O our master, qutb-uz-zamaan. To be a qutub is an appointment from the Lord of Heavens: He may grant that. We are saying, a`udhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. We are fearing from our ego's dirtiness, because dirtiness is not for Divine Presence as we have been ordered to make ablution for prayers. Also, we are in need of reaching heavenly presence of the Lord of Heavens' cleanliness, وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ  wa theeyaabaka fa't-tahir - And thy garments keep free from stain! (74:4)

O our Muslim Arabs or Arab Muslims! Are you understanding, fa thiyaabaka fa't-tahir? Do you think that one who is cleaning and changing his underwear three times a day, changing their clothes outside, that is cleanliness? Allah Almighty ordering when He is saying,  وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ - wa fatheeyaabaka fa't-tahir وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا  wa yutahirakum tatheeran - make you pure and spotless. (33:33) It means that it is tatheer not like taharah (purity), but it is tatheer. Allah Almighty asking that his servants be so clean, ghaya, the last point that you can make yourself to be clean. The Lord of Heavens asking for the last point of cleanliness. Don’t leave on yourself or on your clothes particularly, don’t leave any dirtiness on your real personality that is thrown on you by Shaytan and devils. Shaytan and devils are so haris, eager, to make Mankind dirty. That is their last aim against Mankind, who are clean and honored in the Divine Presence as His deputies. The deputy must try to be full or complete, perfect, clean ones. That is holy command from Heavens to Mankind, wa fatheeyaabaka fa't-tahir.

 

O Man! You are living on this planet for some time. Through your life on this planet so many occasions are given to everyone, as well as to Shaytan and its armies, to make the servants of the Lord to not be clean, (but to be) dirty! Heavenly order, “Be clean!” and Shaytan calling people, “Don’t listen. Come after me and enjoy yourself. Don’t believe what they are saying about cleaning. I am calling you to enjoy yourself as much as you can. And when you are going back to your home, take a shower. Finished.” Cheating people. “Don’t worry if you are falling into sewage channels. Don’t worry! Get in those sewage channels. Get in and drink and eat, and swim in it. Don’t say, 'We are going to be dirty,' no, get out and take a shower, finished.” That is Shaytan's teachings on this planet for Mankind.

 

There are two teaching centers, one belongs to Heavens and the second to Hells, to darkness territories, more darkness. One is enlightened ways for reaching more and coming close, much closer to the Oceans of Lightening through Allah Almighty’s endless Heaven Oceans. Through Heaven Oceans endless dominions of the Lord of Heavens looking after you to come there. And second one is dark, black holes calling, Shaytan asking to cheat people, “Come after me, come and enter in it. You should be very happy and joyful.”

 

Therefore, O people, I am saying something through my master to you. Did you ever see a scenery lighted on stage while play is going on? They are making it dark, shutting down the lights and people sitting through dark place for looking at something. Shaytan saying, “O people, I am taking you now through these darkest territories to enlightened territories. You should find so many things through that darkness. You are going to see so many things. If we are not using that darkness, you can’t see anything on screen. No. Therefore, I am putting you into darkness and, after darkness, you should see so many things.” But really you are just in darkness of black hole, putting you in it, then you will see there. If you are not coming to sit into darkness, it is not going to appear. That is Shaytanic teaching.

 

Shaytan is using thousands of tricks and traps. When you are entering through darkness, you are not seeing anything. What you are doing, you are not understanding. It means you are just caught by darkness waiters from Shaytan carrying you and making a stage, saying, “Look, look, look.” “Yes, I am looking, but I am not there; I am not living in that stage, I am here.” If anyone is using his mentality there, Shaytan is quickly taking that one outside. “We are not seeing anything. We are not there.” Shaytan is kicking him outside not to cheat other people and to tell. Therefore, Shaytan is using countless traps and tricks on people for cheating them, to not listen to prophets, the heavenly messengers; to what they are saying and teaching, saying, “This is nothing. I am coming to cheat you.”

 

Therefore, in our days Shaytan making people, particularly learned people, to say, “We have a mentality, enough zaka and `aqil (intelligence, cleverness) and we must try to make our cleverness an unchangeable balance; there is a balance for everything. We must use our cleverness as our lord. We must bow in front of our cleverness and positive knowledge.” They are doing that as (if) they are gods. They are saying, “(There is) no god, (there is) only what we are looking and seeing from our minds and positive knowledge, that’s it. We are bowing in front of that.” That is biggest sin for humanity making their faces to be changed and to be taken from them heavenly lights that were granted when they were coming to this life from the wombs of their mothers. When you are looking at a baby when coming it is so innocent, but when he is growing up, Shaytan is playing with his understanding, playing through his cleverness. He is trying to make them not to believe in the Lord of Heavens.

 

They are saying, “Nothing is up. Everything is in front of you.” Positivism. They are saying, “We must approach something, then we are believing positive knowledge.” That is their understanding and it is false, one hundred percent. Not one hundred percent, a thousand percent. Now whole world is believing in such nonsense ideas that Shaytan teaching them, saying, “Don’t believe in such a one that you are not seeing or approving him. But you must have, if you are asking a lord for yourself, positive knowledge. Enough for you.” Therefore, there is a very famous branch of ideas in our days, Positivism, refusing everything about spirituality. Saying, “We are not accepting. Only we are accepting positive knowledge, and we are positive people.” That is Shaytanic teachings.

 

All prophets came with heavenly powers granted to them. If you are looking at their faces, you should enjoy them and be full with a pleasure. For what reason? (Mawlana has a coughing bout.) Shaytan never likes that I may speak, making coughing for me! Curse on you, l`aanatullah `alayh on that one! Sayyidina Yusuf (a) had been granted to be so handsome. All prophets, their faces like moon so handsome, that was a grant from heavens to human nature. The Egyptian people were in a drought and coming and standing in front of palace of Sayyidina Yusuf (a). Sayyidina Yusuf (a) coming, standing and giving salaam to them. When they looked at his face, they forgot their hunger. They kept on looking, looking, looking. When Sayyidina Yusuf (a) going into his palace, people were still standing there for three days like this. Three days that noor of his beauty until closing, they are looking and for forty days they are not feeling hunger!

 

The Lord of Heavens giving such beauty and lights to his divine servants. Therefore, Sayyidina Yusuf (a) was the most beautiful among prophets, (Mawlana stands) but beauty of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s) even more. If Yusuf (a) was a crescent, Sayyidina Muhammad (s) like a full moon! Or Sayyidina Yusuf (a) was like a moon then Sayyidina Muhammad (s) like sun shining despite (what) Wahabi and Salafi people (say). I am giving nothing for the honor of the Seal of Prophets (s), (only) Allah (swt) is giving to him and dressing that beauty on His most beloved servant!

 

As-saalamu `alaykum, O our listeners! Don’t say that knowledge is only for those people who are learning something through colleges, high schools, academies or universities. Don’t believe that all knowledge and its lightening for them. No, they have been given only a very small spot like an atom. Hear and believe! I am a translator for the honored ones in heavenly levels for the presence of Allah Almighty. They are granted something appearing from the smallest light. If appearing from one that granted a heavenly light, this world going to disappear through that light. Don’t say, “O Shaykh, you are exaggerating.” It is not mubalagha. It is the smallest thing I can say only, because their minds can’t carry. If we are going to speak something on that point, their minds going to be solid like stone. No understanding and no feeling. Don’t say that we are doing too much, no; it is not too much, but too small!

 

That is about prophecy. They are granting a little tonight for people on how they have been granted heavenly beauty and handsomeness; you can’t imagine! Therefore, those who have been granted such a knowledge from heavens are awliyaa, saints. If you are looking at one of them, you can’t carry. Even to look to their eyes, you may fall. Therefore, they are mostly closing and not showing. If anyone asking to look through their eyes, they are tiring and becoming ashamed and retreating.

 

But those people who are followers of positive knowledge as Shaytan teaching to them, you can’t look to their faces, so ugly, so ugly! If you are looking for three days you can’t eat something, such ugly ones. Those claiming against holy knowledge are saying, “We are representative of positive knowledge.” Look at their faces. You can’t even look at their faces for ten seconds, so ugly. Bring their photos here and look at them. What you should see? O my Lord! O Rabbuna, O Rabbuna wa Rabbu 'l-`alameen.

 

That is from tonight’s association. A little bit changing coming tonight, as He likes about His deputies on Earth; prophets, messengers from heavens. People who are not accepting heavenly lights, their faces through darkness and they have also a bad breathing. You can’t approach them because of that dirty breathing. Also, from their body coming such a dirty smelling. Doesn’t matter whether they use soaps and perfumes, their bodies smell dirty. But those people who are taking from heavens, their bodies giving perfume to people. O people, try to cling to the ways of imaan and Holy Qur'an. Prophet (s) saying, “Try to do this.” You can’t reach to that point till you are following one of heavens representatives. Look after that.

 

Fatihah. May Allah forgive us, O People.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham responds to questions from the audience.

Q: I want to know about the most pressing topic in us. Since you are the chairman of ISCA, what is biggest concern of Muslims in the US and what is your opinion about it?

A: Thank you for this important question. We are looking into this subject. In reality, Muslims are not united. If the Muslims were united it would be easy to have a better understanding with the others. You know that the US is a very open, democratic and open-minded country. The pressing subject is, how to show and share the values of Islam with our our American brothers and sisters. The values the Prophet (s) brought of moral excellence, which many Muslims don't know about. They focus on the first 5 pillars; that is the shahada, prayers, fasting in Ramadan, giving donations and doing the Hajj. However, they don't  give attention to the other two aspects of religion. Namely, Iman (faith) and Ihsan, moral excellence. You cannot cheat as a Muslim. In general, it is important for a Muslim  to be taught these principles in Muslim schools. To learn the discipline of Islam which teaches how to behave with [for example] Americans. For instance, if you say to my daughter you are not American she will refuse. She says she is American and she laughs. With my grandchildren it is the same. We want to show that we want integration not segregation. Muslims have to step forward as the US government likes integration. We are trying to work very closely with the administration to implement Islamic teachings. To show Islam to be a moderate religion as it is a heavenly religion. This is very important within the US and outside it as well. What you are asking is to have an understanding of Islam with all its interpretations and technicalities.

Q: Why do some Naqshbandis ignore the government's ruling of the breaking of fast at the end of Ramadan?

A: This question is very easy. The question is why some of the Naqshbandis broke fast 2 days earlier than the others. That was a stupid mistake by them. We don't accept it and they are on their own. That is their responsibility. As I told them, if they want to repent to Allah (swt) they must fast 60 days for each. You must break fast with the rest of the country. Religion is not a joke. You live in a certain country, you fast with them and you break fast with them according to the government. Once the Saudi government mistakenly announced the breaking of fast after 28 days, having realized this they announced a further fast of 2 days. Our people did this without authority. They are not the judge or the authority in the country. In Saudi there was mistake in sighting the moon. Here, these Naqshbandi knew that we were fasting, our Shaykh was fasting and even if he broke fast with Cyprus, we in America must follow our country. All Muslim countries broke fast on Sunday, so we broke fast on Sunday. That is an easy answer. They are responsible for what they have done; they asked repentance in public and are fasting 120 days. I didn't make the Shariah, that is what Allah (swt) and Prophet (s) did. They must fast and if they can't they must feed a poor person. This is their punishment. Some are following it, some are not. It is up to them.

A: The first question is why were there two celebrations of Laylat al-Qadr. I am not going into the technicality of it in Shariah. The Prophet (s) said, soomoo li ruiyatih wa aftiroo li ruiyatih, fast when you see the moon and break fast when you see the moon. In some countries they might not see the moon as it is cloudy but today there is technology and they can know the first and the last days of the moon by calculations. Some Islamic scholars approve using technology to calculate the days and some say you have to see the moon. These are the differences and 90 percent of people here might not understand this discussion. Mawlana fasted with Turkey, ahead of Indonesia by one day. It was a Thursday and here, Friday, as in some Arab countries also. So if it is Thursday then Laylat al-Qadr is ahead of Indonesia by one day. It was not that it was two days, but there they follow their country and here you follow your country and this is what the Prophet (s) mentioned. You follow the country you are in, so Indonesia cannot follow Turkey and vice versa. That is an answer to the first question and that is enough for the questions the lady asked.

You see? No questions, they are very good students,thank you.

 

Q: I would like to know your view of Islam in Indonesia, as sometimes it is very encouraging to be democratic and how do you view Islam in the Western countries?

A: A`udhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. Religion to Allah (swt) is Islam. Since Islam is the religion that Allah revealed to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) I am seeing that it is not going to be now, qad ja al-haq wa zahaq al-batil. Haqq came with Sayyidina Muhammad (s.) Muslims can be down but not Islam. Islam is perfect. Today I have perfected your religion for you and completed My favor upon you and chosen for you Islam as your religion.(5:3) We cannot say except that Islam will be known around the world. For those who want to be Muslim, alhamdulillah. For those who don't, it is up to them. We cannot say Islam will take over. Islam is a religion of the heavens. The Torah was revealed to Musa (as) and it was a religion of heaven. The Bible came with Isa (as), it was a religion of heaven and when Islam came, it is now a religion of heaven. We cannot say people must accept Islam. That is up to them. If they like it they may accept. What is important is to make Islam seen to be moderate not terrorizing. We are stubborn with our ideas. Islam is shown as a religion of suicide bombing which is not accepted by

Allah (swt) Who wants people to live happily and feel happy. That is why He sent the prophets with their religions and He sent a perfect man, Sayyidina Muhammad (s) to the Muslims. It is a message of perfection and a message of heaven. You can go anywhere around the world now and Islam is on the tongue of every human being, which is good for us.

We have to show that Islam is a religion that respects everyone. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of divisions in Islam; though they say there are four schools of thought, add on Jafari and Zaidi... in reality not just 7 schools, an Egyptian scholar found 467 schools. Which school to follow? It is confusing with everyone taking sides. They don't meet in the middle. Each one goes from one way to another. The Prophet (s) indicated that a day would come when the earth would be filled with ignorance. Today we see too much ignorance, not in science but in relations. We have become cruel like animals in a jungle. We ask Allah (swt) to keep this country very peaceful, in the east, west, north or south.

 

Mawlana was very touched by a beautiful poem, recited by a young, orphan girl.

I would like to comment on this. I got the translation of the young, beautiful, girl's reciting and she said:

O Holy Prophet you have been born
from the womb of a woman named Amina
You are the perfect man,
you are God's messenger 

Every man has to commemorate your birth
on 12th rabi ul-awwal, peace and peace and peace

Allah said in Qur'an, alam yajidka yateeman fa awaa

Allah is saying to Muhammad: Ya Muhammad!
I know you were orphan,
your father and mother died but I gave you shelter
I gave you a place to live,
I gave you heaven,
I gave you earth,

I gave you knowledge.
Allah gave the best orphan
the best knowledge
He gave him the night of ascension,
and He gave him,
"Read in the Name of your Lord
Who created mankind from a clot."
Allah gave Sayyidina Muhammad (s) everything.
Ya Muhammad! Your face is like sunshine on earth;
You are the example
of commendable character
You have the jewelled heart.

And she said about herself, listen to what she said to those who don't know Bahasa.

I found myself in the womb
of my mother - alone,
between screams
as I was to be born 

But Divine destiny came quickly
and took my mother away
and took her to heaven

Then my father struggled
against temptation and his illness was so great,
struggling for his life
But daddy and mommy passed away,
now I was born into the world as an orphan,
without a father or mother
I miss my mother's carress
and I miss her face
as she died when I was in her womb
I miss my father's care,
I pray for my father and mother
who died shaheeds
Make people to care for an orphan
as it should be,
make people to care for us and help us
Patience and trust are my clothes.

May Allah (swt) forgive us. It struck my heart when I read this. May Allah (swt) bless and forgive us and give us from His endless mercy oceans.
The Prophet (s) said, "yanqati`u `amaal abnu adam illa min thalaath -- the deeds of Bani Adam are cut except from three elements.: It means that whatever you did in dunya, is finished when you die. You cannot do any `amal in the grave, you cannot pray or fast anymore. If you lost you lost and if you gained you gained. You cannot do any `aamal in the grave. There are only three `aamaal that can assist you, even in the grave. What are they? The Prophet (s) said, sadaqatun jaariya, a flowing donation; if you are a generous person and gave away money or even a brick or block in a masjid or school, orphanage or university. That is something that benefits all people. The benefit that you gave people will be rewarded and reach you in the grave because of the sadaqa you did (earlier) in dunya. The second is, `ilmun yuntafi`u bih, knowledge that you left behind and people benefited from it. You are a writer and wrote about Islam, or chemistry or psychology or physics. Anything of benefit you left behind, the reward of it reaches you in the grave as people benefit from knowledge. Third, waladun saalihun yadu` bihi, a child you raise well and he always reads the Qur'an or gives sadaqa on behalf of the father and mother. The well raised child, gifting rewards to his parents who receive the reward for as much as he is doing in his life.

What I am seeing in this university, mashaa-Allah, is a place of education, and for those who built it brick by brick Allah (swt) is sending a reward to them in their graves and for those who benefit from the knowledge being taught here and then those who are learning the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (s,) these orphans. They are learning it well and are here to remind us. The Prophet (s) didn't have a father and mother and how lucky we are who have fathers and mothers. May Allah (swt) reward Mrs. Hendor, I heard she has 28 schools. May Allah (swt) grant her happiness and us and all here and that is not easy, to run 28 schools

Mawlana addresses problems related to unauthorized publishing in Indonesia:

Last, we have problems, and all have problems. People must be very careful what you put on the name of your shaykh. You might make a mistake and it will harm you a lot and make big problems. These are unforgiven mistakes. You might be sincere, but you are still doing something that is incorrect.

So, you have to be very careful about using the pictures of the Shaykh, the name of the Shaykh or using name of an organization without permission, without knowing what you are doing. Then you jeopardize your Shaykh and your brothers and sisters in tariqah. So no one is authorized to translate books of Malwana Shaykh or myself or my brother as it might create a misunderstanding in translating these very high issues in Islam. They might make a mistake in translating. They can use their own name, then we have no responsibility. They have no right to use our name. I never saw these books and and I authorize someone to collect them and burn them all in order to be sure they are not distributed. The only book that I have authorized is the Encyclopedia of Islamic Doctrine and  Approach of Armageddon, that has been translated. these 5 books we accept and they are checked to be sure they keep the original meanings. Those who did other translations are not accepted. They must learn from this issue, they should take course in Islamic studies to better understand such issues and they can write books in their own names with their own pictures. I would like to end by saying, those who made these books might have good intentions, but unfortunately they don't have deep knowledge of tasawwuf and that is why they made these mistakes.

Seek Eternity and Limitless Paradises

Dastoor ya Sayyidee, madad. Stand up for your Lord’s glory! Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaaha illa-Llah, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa lillahi ‘l-hamd! All praising and all glory for our Lord, Almighty Allah, and presented to His most beloved and honored one in His Divine Presence, also glory and honor! May Allah forgive us. We are asking forgiveness, O our Lord, and asking Your blessings. We are so weak ones and we are asking endlessly salutes and greetings for Your most beloved one in Your Divine Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

O yaa Rabb! O People! As-salaamu `alaykum. That salaam gives you salaamat, safety, here and Hereafter. O People! Give some time for listening heavenly announcement, that if you are listening and accepting, just taken over from your sufferings and miseries. And we are looking that everyone, now they are in sufferings and through misery, and they are just drowned. The whole world is just drowned through miseries and sufferings. Therefore, if you are asking hayyaatun tayyibah, to live here a good life for a period that has been granted to you, to be here in safety and in happiness and enjoyment, then say as-salaamu `alaykum, salute on believers from their Lord. That is one of the biggest grants of our Lord to take away heavy burdens from our shoulders.

 

O People! We are saying because we have been ordered to be in connection through heavenly beings that they are holy ones. Holiness is not by dressing in strange clothes or something strange on your heads, no. Holiness is a grant just put on your head like crowns for kings or emperors. Ask for that holiness, that Allah Almighty sending through His prophets, peace be upon them, and just had been sent after prophets whom they are following their ways. There is a way reaching to holy stations and there is another way that carries people through sewage channels. Therefore, holy people who are asking to reach the level of holiness are getting much more care and they are scaring not to fall into sewage channels. That is a way.

 

We are understanding here that whole prophets were saying (teaching about) the Day of Resurrection when people coming for their judgments. The Lord of Heavens giving His majestic judgment, sending people from mahsher, the place for the people landing there, standing and looking upon holy judgment of the Lord of Heavens. They are crowded there. After being under Divine Judgment, they will be ordered, “Now walk!” And everyone will reach to their private places or areas where they will be there forever. Now you are walking, and then they are walking on a very thin and very difficult bridge just put over fire. Who can pass on it, will reach Paradise, reaching their Lord’s pleasure, reaching to their Lord’s honor, reaching their Lord’s happiness! That is granted to them after passing on that bridge. That is the way of holy ones, who are keeping through this life their steps on holy way; they will be able to pass through or over that bridge, that very thin, very thin, very sharp, and very terrible to walk on it. But that is the way of holy ones whom through their lives preferring to walk on the ways of holy ones. They will pass through that holy bridge, reaching up to holy lands granted from the Lord of Heavens, and no one knows its limits, hudut, no one knowing.

SubhanAllah! Glory to Allah Almighty! According to holy books, the last one entering Paradise just granted ten times (more) like this planet if you are making flat, and he should be so happy. But more than that happiness, because he was thinking, “If this territory is in limits, what about if I am going to be here forever? Do you think that I can be happy with an imitated paradise up to Eternal?” Something was coming something through his heart. The last one entering thinking, “What is ten times of this world?” Now it is so big for a person living here, but the Lord giving to that person that he may be remembering and asking, “O my Lord, our life in dunya was in limits because our lives in limit, but here unlimited, eternal life. If you are granting us eternal life, this ten times dunya is nothing! We are looking more from Your majesty, majestic kingdom with never-ending dominions and oceans of creation!”

 

They (inhabitants of Paradise) are saying, “We are so big and this is nothing! We are asking, we hope this not only for us. With happiness we are hoping this Paradise must be as a sea and if growing, it is getting a tree, and from that tree in that garden taking seeds from fruits and making it more!”

 

And Divine Addressing (to them), “O My servant! Now be happy what I am granting to you. Don’t try to teach Me. Don’t try what I am asking to give to you a limit. Everything through Eternity is eternal. O My servant, (I am granting to you) that world ten times daily, ten times Paradise that I granted to you! Second day it should be double, third day you should find three times, fourth day you should find four times bigger! Be happy, in contentment. Don’t worry, I am the Lord! Don’t try to teach Me something. I am granting to you. Now today you are entering and you are seeing a big land, ten times of world, and tomorrow you should find it double ten times more, and third day you are going to find it thirty times bigger! O My, servant enjoy My endless favors!”

O People! That is a holy way. If anyone of you asking to reach those holy lands that day-by-day getting more and more, don’t think that it is going (to be only) three times bigger. When it is granted three times as the first grant, second day going to be twenty times, and third day from twenty times going to be ten times more. What is it going to be? Two-hundred times, and two-hundred times making it double. Fourth day you are going to find two-hundred times, four-hundred times bigger.

“My Lord, if I can reach to that?”
“If you are not reaching, how you are asking? What I granted to you, I know it. You should be happy, more happy. You are not going to say, ‘enough’; always you are going to say, hal min mazeed, ‘O my Lord, I am asking for more; I am not getting full from Your grants. O my Lord, give more and more and more.’“

O People! That is something that coming to me for declaring to whole nations and whole people. Mostly people now on this Earth are just mixed with miseries and sufferings; no taste for their lives, no one getting a pleasure for their permanent temporary life. You never taking any taste.

 

O People! Our Lord is calling us. Why are you not giving? Why are you not trying to give daily even five minutes for your Lord, Almighty Allah, for thanking and making sajdah for Him and thanking to your Lord? What is that foolishness from you? What is that ignorance from you? What is that your dirtiness? So big, you are like rats living through sewage channels and not asking to get out. Why? And every day sufferings getting more and more on your shoulders and you are young ones beginning to come down, down, down. This is a very important message from heavenly levels.

O People! That is a warning as well as it is endlessly good tidings for you! Give some minutes for your Lord, for His pleasure, then He grants to you endlessly pleasure here and Hereafter. Ohhh, drinking through pubs, drinking through casinos, drinking through bad places, doing dirty things! It is not your honor, O Man, to do bad things! It is not honor of a deputy to take dirty things! It is blame to Mankind that they are only thinking how they are killing people, how they are giving trouble to people, how getting more trouble to people! That is your humanity? “Tuuuh” on such a humanity! Allah takes them away because Divine anger is approaching because you are living and reaching the last station of this planet and the Day of Resurrection is just approaching. You should be ashamed, most ashamed on the Day of Resurrection.

O People! Leave to drink because drunk makes you drunk and drunk’s level under the level of donkeys. If giving donkey to drink “talkie walkie” (laughter), Johnnie walkie, if you are giving a donkey to drink Johnnie Walker (whiskey), what drinking that whiskey? If giving to donkey, you, Man, humanity, that donkey not drinking, so how you are drinking?

“No, O our Shaykh, we are not drinking Johnnie Walker, we are drinking champagne.”
Chimpanzee? Put in front of chimpanzee, if drinking champagne, chimpanzee is a kind of ape, put and it should cry, “What is that?”
“O Shaykh, we are not drinking champagne, we are drinking vodka.”
Worst! Leave it in Russia. So many bears, give to him vodka and see if drinking or not. Bear not drinking. You are people, how you are drinking that? What is that foolishness?!
“O Shaykh, we are Greek people. We are accustomed to drink cognac. You never tasted it to know what is cognac. When drinking we are singing (Mawlana mimics a Greek singer.) That is Greek singing.

Come to me, O my black-eye's darling.
O my darling, black-eye's darling, come to me.
 Just I am tappa, oh  marhaba! How are you?

Greek people, you are happy? But Italians, I am not learning what they are drinking? Wine and also I forgot German people what they are drinking.
“O Shaykh, Germans drinking beer.”
What is beer?
“Beer is just made from barley.”
What? Barley, only donkeys like it. Or how you are making that beer from barley?
“You don’t know, you never taste this.”

I am not tasting. If donkey not tasting, how I can taste? Donkey never getting happy to drink that beer, how I am going to be happy to drink it? And then Arabs also drinking. What are they drinking? Arak, I know. You are Arab and not knowing. Making from dates and drinking. In Egypt making from dates and drinking. Turks now they are free, drinking everything, whatever coming they are drinking. Then? When a person drinking, no more their minds working; finished. When their minds are not working, they are cut off from humanity and reaching to level under the level of animals, because animals are not drinking. Leave to be drunk ones! Then one day you should be unhappy. Give some times for thinking, to learn for your beginning and for your end.

O People! May Allah forgive us. We are only asking that someone should be sent from heavens to correct our steps and the time is over for that one coming and Jesus Christ coming and then going to be Judgment Day! Keep your honor, O Mankind! Leave bad customs and try to reach good customs from holy ones because if no holy one, no way to eternal life, no Eternity for them.

May Allah forgive us, for the honor of most honored one in His Divine Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (s).  (Mawlana stands for honor of Prophet [s] and sits.) Yaa Rasulullah!

nawaytu 'r-riyaadah, nawaytu 's-sulook, lillahi ta`ala fee haadha 'l-masjid.
 
Ati`ullaha wa ati`u 'r-Rasoola wa ooli 'l-amri minkum.

Obey Allah, obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority among you. (4:59)

Ya Rabbana, ya Rabbana, ya Rabbana, ya Hayyul, ya Qayyum!

As-salaamu `alaykum! Labbayk, allahumma labbayk. Allahu akbar. Yaa Sayyidee yaa Rasulullah jinaka yaa Sayyidee...

(Allah said:)

وَمَا
أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلَوْ
أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآؤُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُواْ اللّهَ
وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُواْ اللّهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا

wa law annahum idh dhalamoo anfusahum jaa'ooka w 'astaghfarullah w 'astaghfara lahumu 'r-rasoola la-wajad-Allah tawaaban raheeema.

We sent not an apostle, but to be
obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when
they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's
forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they
would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful. (4:64)

Our brothers and sistersm as-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh. I will speak English as many people can understand. I will not be too long.

If what Allah is inspiring us through Sayyidina Habeeb ash-Shaykh `Abdul-Qadir and his group through their praising of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) in such high spiritual way, and everyone in the audience is so happy, what do you think about when Allah praises His prophet when he says:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

Inna Allah wa mala`ikatahu yusalloona `ala an-nabiyy - Allah and His angels send blessings
on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute
him with all respect. (33:56)

How do you think that angels are celebrating the praise of the Prophet (s) when it is coming from their Lord?

When a  president comes to your country here, at the airport you can see M-16 and M-18 army jets escorting the president of any other country. And you see the red carpet and all these very beautiful, nicely dressed people standing on both sides welcoming that president who is coming, is it not? The whole country will be decorated with flags and decorated with people welcoming the president that is coming and all TV stations will be showing that celebration and that festival and the folkloric dancing. That means they show their best, welcoming an important guest coming to their country. 

That is if a president is coming. If a king is coming that is a different story. All these carriages and fancy dresses and different styles of flowers will be thrown on streets all the way that the king and queen are passing. It means the way the streets that this queen or king or president is passing through has to be decorated on both sides.This is meant for men's invitation, whether men-to-men  or women-to-women, an earthly invitation. What do you think about the invitation that is coming from Allah (swt) to Sayyidina Muhammad (s), from the Creator to the servant? Allah invited him to come on the Night of `Isra and Mi`raaj. What kind of decorations Allah ordered to be put for the visit of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), can we imagine?

Mawlana Shaykh's qasaa'id that he read is Man's writing, authored by people, and we are singing it and if you know Arabic, you will be amazed by the praising of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) by common people. What do you think about the praises that Allah ordered the angels when He said inna Allah wa mala`ikatahu yusalloona ala an-nabiyy,"Allah and His angels are praising Muhammad." What kind of language is it? Is it poetry? No, it has to be something heavenly. This is the word from the Holy Qur'an and the Holy Qur'an is not makhlooq (created), it is abadiyyun, kalaamullah, the Quran is Allah's Ancient Words, which are not created, so Qur'an is not created. His words are "with" Him, so when He says inna Allah wa mala`ikatahu yusalloona ala an-nabiyy, it means the salawaat that Allah (swt) is sending to Prophet (s) is not created, it is in the Holy Qur'an. That means the heavenly praises of Allah on His Prophet are within the Holy Qur'an where Allah ordered the angels to praise Prophet (s). That is not easy (to understand); it is difficult.

al-quran ghayru makhlooq fa jami`il-quran ghayru makhlooq. Fa kayf idhan, bi ayyi siffa amr'Allahu lil-mala'ikat an yusalloo `ala an-Nabi, bi ayyi tariqah ..haadha `adhamat an-nabi `alayhi 's-salaat wa 's-salaam min Allah `ala an-nabiyy la yumkin na`rifahu li-anna haadha min sirral-quran. nahnu la na`lamu ghayru fi'l-qasaa'id. haqiqat madh an-nabi fil haqaiq al-quran al-`ilm ind-Allah. wa maa ya'lamoo taweelahu ill 'Llah. atruk ash-Shaykh lit-tafseer.

The Qur'an is not created, and that means all of the Qur'an is uncreated. How? By which means did Allah praise His Prophet? This is from the immense greatness of the Prophet (s), from Allah to His Prophet, and there is no possibility for us to know it. This is from the secret of the Qur'an, but we on the other hand, know nothing but singing qaseedas. The reality of the praising of the Prophet is within the reality of the Qur'an, and that knowledge is with Allah alone. I leave to the shaykh to explain.

 

وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلاَّ اللّهُ - wa maa ya`alamu taaweelahu ill-L'lah - But no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. (3:7)

It means that Allah (swt) invited the Prophet to His Divine Presence when He said:

سُبْحَانَ
الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى
الْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ
آيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ

Subhaan alladhee asraa bi-`abdihi laylan min al-masjidi 'l-haraam ila 'l-masjidi'l-aqsa 'lladhee baarakna hawlahu li-nooriyyahu min ayyaatina, innahu huwa 's-sami`u 'l-baseer.

Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless, that We might show him some of Our Signs, for He is the One Who hears and sees (all things). (17:1)

Allah invited Prophet to Qaaba Qawsayni aw adnaa - the Station of Two Bow's-length or Nearer. What has been decorated on this travel? Imagine if a king is invited in dunya, they decorate the whole country for that distinguished person who is visiting. So that is for dunya, what kind of decorations and celebrations were prepared for the arrival of Sayyidina Muhammad might be that all angles, all heavenly angels of Heavens and Earth were celebrating that beautiful, musical heavenly praises on Prophet as the Prophet was moving through this universe to Qaaba Qawsayni aw adnaa - the Station of Two Bow's-length or Nearer. In dunya, a king passing through the streets sees people on right and left giving him salaam until he reaches. So what about Sayyidina Muhammad? Are not angels giving him salaams as he is passing all the way up to seven heavens, all the way up to Qaaba Qawsayni aw adnaa - the Station of Two Bow's-length or Nearer! For sure! And what kind of salaams are there and with what kind of language?

Li-dhaalik laa yumkin li-ahad ma`rifatu haqaa'iq an-nabi (s) laa fi 'd-dunya wa laa fi 'l-akhira.li-anna Allah la shareek lahu fee mulkihi wa an-Nabi (s) ka-`abdun lillaahi `azza wa jall, laa shareek lahu fee `uboodiyatah.

The Prophet (s) no one can reach his level and he has no partner in his servanthood. Just as Allah swt has no partner in His being Creator, also what Allah swt gave to Sayyidina Muhammad (s), no one will know it in dunya and in akhira - it is hidden. Never mind, that is too difficult (to translate).
That is, I don't know... Mawlana, my shaykh, has thrown in my heart this kind of knowledge.


Adam wa man doonahu tahta liwa'ee yawm al-qiyaamah. kullu 'l-anbiya ma` umamihim
sayaatoona ila hadrat an-nabi (s) wa yatluboona  an yuqadimahum ila hadrat Allah `azza wa jall li anna laa yumkin li shafa`at umamihim, yatluboona shafa`at an-Nabi (s). Fa li-dhaalika qadrat an-nabi wa miqdaar an-nabi wa marifat asraar  an-nabi laa yumkin li 'l-bashr li ma`rifatihaa illa qaleelan
li 'l-awliya, hasal `ala qaleelan min haadhihi 'l-umoor al-ukhrawiya, aw li-haadhihi 'l-asraar alladhee huwa nuqtatan
fee bahr, wa laa haadha akthar min nuqta fee bahr.
`indama yashfa` an-nabi laa yumkin maa `ataullah min asraar wa laa yumkim hasaluha wa la yumkim ma`rifatiha li awliyaullah aw sahaaba an ya`rif min hadhihi 'l-asraar illa ka-nuqtatun mina 'l-bahr.
Li-dhaalik narjullah `azza wa jall an yajma`na ma` an-nabi fi 'd-dunya qabl al-akhirah. wa qaala an -nabi man ra'anee fi 'l-manaam fa sa-yaraanee haqqan. wa qaala imam as-suyuti haqqan yura an-nabi fi 'd-dunya li anna kullun sawfa yarawna an-nabi fi 'l-akhira. sa yaranee ma`nahu fi 'd-dunya la`ala yaraahu qabl mawtihi. wa nas'al-Allahu an naraa an-nabi fi 'd-dunya wa fi 'l-akhira.
ameen, ameen wa salaamun `ala al-mursaleen w'alhamdulillahi rabb\i 'l-`alaameen.

Adam and all other than him will be under my flag on the Day of Judgment. Our Prophet (s) has a flag in akhirah and all the prophets with their ummas
will be hoping for his intercession coming to his presence asking him to present them in the Divine Presence, seeking the intercession of the Prophet (s)! None of the awliyaullah nor even the Sahaba know the secret of Prophet (s) and whatever we know is just a glimpse, a
drop! If all the creatures of Earth make salawaat on Prophet (s), it can not be compared with the salawaat of those angels! We hope that this meeting will allow us meet Prophet (s) in this life before the next life, as the Prophet (s) said, "Anyone who saw me in a dream, (it means) they met me." Imam as-Suyuti said that "to see me haqqan" means you will see him in this life, as everyone will see the Prophet (s) in the next life, so that is nothing extraordinary, but seeing him in this life is special. Therefore we hope that before sakaraatu 'l-mawt, the pain of our death, we will see him and in akhirah inshaAllah we will all meet with him.

We are very thankful for you Shaykh Shareef and Mrs. Shareef and may Allah give everyone happiness who is here and especially our shaykh Habeeb Abdul Qadir, and his family and children I am happy to be with them and to be at their feet as those who praise the Prophet (s) we have to honor them.
May Allah bless all of you and as-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh. I have to run as I have another event. So we will keep Habeeb Shaykh here and we keep the people there and he has the whole group with him.

Try to Know the Representative of the Divinely Being

Dastoor ya RijaalAllah, madad! Stand up, O listeners for the honor of our Lord, our Creator and say takbeer, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaaha illa-Llah, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa lillahi ‘l-hamd!

 

Whole praising and whole glory that even our imagination can’t reach its beginning or ending really, no beginning and no ending. Beginning and ending, that is for creatures and not for the Creator, Allah Almighty, to be the same beginning or ending. Hasha! Azaliyun abadiyun. No one knows the real meaning of “azali” and “`abadi”. We may say only pre-Eternal and Eternal, we may say Eternity; that is only our understanding level and for whole creations, also. And we are giving our most high respects to that one who was created by his Lord first, the first creation; he is Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Allah gives him much more honor, as He knows that we are asking. And we are saying to our master that Allah grants to him much more praising and honor and heavenly power according to His karam, generosity. (Mawlana Shaykh sits).

 

O People! Our listeners, don’t listen to me, no. Listen to that one who is making me speak to you, to address you. That is important. As-salaamu `alaykum! O our listeners from Mankind! Knowledge that is granted to Mankind has no measure. There is no measuring that, because knowledge from heavens is just running like water. You know, our listeners? Sleeping? Stand up! Some people are bringing you coffee to drink and you are happy to drink coffee. Don’t drink whiskey to be drunk ones. Drunk ones, their levels are under the level of animals. We are not coming here to be drunk, no. We are coming here and the Lord of Heavens is asking an opening for ourselves. He Almighty likes that His servants know something about their Lord. Therefore, when you are sitting here, give your hearing and try to hear as much as possible with an understanding. Not only listening, because everything that is from the heavens is coming and reaching to the deputies of the Lord of Heavens. There is coming something for understanding, but some people are never using that. Therefore, they are going to be drunk.

 

The Lord of Heavens is sending His Divine addressing through His most honored one and His only representative, because Allah Almighty is not using two representatives: He is only One and His representative must be one. But don’t think that the representative is representing his Lord fully. Can’t be! No, it is impossible because there are not two gods. There can’t be two gods! Is anyone seeing on a throne two kings sitting, or three sitting? Can’t be! Allah Almighty’s Throne, no one is knowing that one’s reality; impossible! But there is also a throne that belongs to our universe, that belongs to heavens. But the Divine Throne, no one is knowing this through heavens. As, for example, an architect is making a model, but it is not a real building, it is only a model. This is only for giving an understanding, very weak also. We may speak more than this, without an ending. Because what belongs to divinely levels belongs to only that One Heavenly, as a model. Even that is covering the whole Creation. No one is going to be bigger than the Throne of Allah Almighty and that is only a representing throne, representing from unknown except its name, `Arshullah, given to this.

 

O people, hear and try to understand something! Try to know who you are, try to know your honor, try to know the representative of the Divinely Being through heavenly levels. Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar!

 

Yes, it is mentioned that Allah Almighty is ordering that Holy Throne to be held up, ordering to four angels: Sayyidina Jibra’eel, Sayyidina Azra`eel, Sayyidina Mika’eel and Sayyidina Isra’feel (a), and each one can carry whole heavenly levels. They can’t do anything, `ajizun, unable. They are saying, “O our Lord, we can’t do, we can’t do,” and He is granting for helping them, so many angels.  On four great angels, countless angels helping them! Allah Almighty is creating them and ordering, “Help them!” They are trying but can’t carry it up and coming a holy announcement  - that is not Allah Almighty’s sound. No, can’t be! You can’t prepare to hear Allah Almighty’s addressing. He is Unknown Being, He is Allah Almighty! And announcement from divinely level, one level, two levels, three levels, four levels, five levels, six levels, seven levels. They are stopping there, but really for divinely levels you can’t say any number. We are knowing about seven heavenly levels, but divinely levels no one knowing their numbers. Numbers can’t reach; billions, trillions, ten trillions and never reaching to add divinely levels, no! We are on heavenly levels. Those levels and their realities, it is impossible to be known.

 

(Mawlana Shaykh stands) Allahu akbar! Akbar! Allahu akbar! Akbar! Allahu akbar Allah, Allah! (Mawlana sits.)

O our Lord! O our Lord! We are knowing nothing, we are knowing nothing! They are making this weak servant sometimes to speak on ilahiyat, divinity; Divinely Presence. O people living (in) aakhiri 'z-zamaan, Last Days’ people! From one side you are lucky that such an opening is coming to you close to Last Day. Ummamu maadiya, nations that passed away, are not granted such a knowledge. No! And no one is speaking on it up to today. But we are reaching to Last Day and getting something from Holy Qur‘an Oceans, to make an understanding for living ones, and to dress them with an honor that nations that passed before this nation, the nation of Muhammad (s) never granted. Only may be Ulul Azam, like Sayyidina `Ibrahim, Sayyidina Nuh, Sayyidina Musa, Sayyidina ‘Isa (a), wa Sayyidi'l-awwaleena wa 'l-akhireen wa sayyidi 'l-anbiya wa 'l-mursaleen Sayyidina Muhammad (s), despite Wahabis and Salafis, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!! (Mawlana Shaykh stands, then sits.) 

Allah, Allah. O People! The representative for our Creator on heavenly levels is now opening something to people to prepare them for getting up, getting higher, higher, higher, endlessly higher stations and dominions of Allah Almighty. Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar.

 

O People! Leave being drunk, and the Lord of Heavens grants you a good understanding. Then you should be ashamed that you are not giving real respect for holy orders of heavens. Now whole nations left heavenly orders and they are running after their mindly products. And I am sorry to say that Islamic learned people, `ulama are saying, “We are doctors.” (Title of) “Doctor” not any honor in Islamic literature, but `ulama. (Allah says:) إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاء - innamaa yakhsh'Allaaha min `ibaadihi al-`ulama - those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge." (35:28) In our time learned people are saying, “Our certificate is from Sorbonne,” “Doctor Fulan,” or, “I have seven certificates from Mauritania.” Some others saying, “I have a certificate from Congo!” 

“There are Congo doctors?” 

“Yes, sir, there certificate also; through jungles, giving certificate that you are a doctor.” 

 

Doctor in which branch? Doctor to know men from women? To know man from monkeys? We are sometimes catching and bringing a gorilla. Because new-fashion doctors are saying that Man is coming from monkeys! Therefore, we are catching sometimes from white man and bringing a gorilla. And looking, “This man coming from this one.” When we are saying this, our grand `ulama are giving us medals that we are certified for understanding between man and apes! So that in Africa, mostly, we have such a certificate that we are knowing between Man and ape. And then we are swearing (like) white people, who are saying that Man is coming from this creature. “Who is saying this and now accepting, we are giving a certificate! Take this, you are doctor also!”

 

(Mawlana Shaykh turns to Shaykh Adnan.) How it is, Adnan Effendi? Important point, you must understand sometimes.

 

O our listeners, don’t sleep! How many times saying to you, “Don’t sleep!” Open your eyes and listen to me! If you can find second one to speak through east and west, bring to me. No one, no one! That is a specialty that Allah Almighty granting. He grants a weak servant to know, to speak and to make a plea to understand. If someone is understanding, it is okay. Most people are not understanding, leave them! 

 

Prophet (s) was saying, “O our Lord, grant us such a power, to be prophets, messengers from heavenly levels.” Coming, but those people never coming to understand what Allah is saying. Leave them! How many are accepting? Accepting others? Doesn’t matter! Through jungles, so many animals living. Let them among Mankind be like wild animals in jungles! We are in need only of those who are understanding. O People! Therefore, try to be someone that (is) understanding; that is your honor. If you are coming here and understanding nothing, your value going to be under zero!

Even 35 minutes, that may grant to you more than 45 minutes, because it is so high level for understanding. People whom they are not reaching the horizon of what we are saying now, they are never going to understand; only what their egos are asking from them, and Shaytan urging them and saying, “Leave those things and come with us, we may go. Better (not) to listen such words, better for us to go to sewage channels, dancing, dancing and making with high sounds like donkeys is better for us.”

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem, they are opening a channel that is astonishing our headly, mindly capacity. Such heavy knowledge, only going to be granted to such a people that they are only for their Lord’s servants. Try for understanding, Pope and Dalai Lama and chief rabbi and bishops and Azhar Shareef. Don’t use, don’t lose your valuable time for some discussion that Shaytan is asking you to come in the center of that bad situation, for cheating you.

I heard that they are coming and asking Shaykh ul-Azhar about niqaab. Yes, we are saying that the Lord of Heavens ordered to use the niqaab for ladies whom they are keeping heavenly orders, they should be granted such a beauty in Paradise that angels should be astonished from their beauty. Whom they are showing their beauties to men, that they are not halaal for them, then their faces going to be so ugly that people should run away from them. And look in Holy Qur’an.  Don’t leave yourself to be in discussion with such a Shaytanic people. May Allah take them away with Wahabi and Salafi people.
