The Only Way to Reach Real Love of Prophet (s)
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
28 March 2010    Piscataway, New Jersey
Prophet Mohammad Day, World Peace Conference, Rutgers University

As-salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh. A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. W 'alhamdulillahil-ladhee ja`alana min ummati habeebina Muhammada 'l-Mustafa `amma ba`ad. Alhamdullahi Rabbi 'l-`alameen, wa 's-salaat wa 's-salaam `ala Sayyidina Muhammad. alfu alfu salaat alfu alfu salaam `alayka yaa Sayyid al-Mursaleen, alfu alfu salaat was-salaam `alayku yaa jadd al-Hasani wal-Husayn, alfu alfu salaat was-salaam `alayku yaa Abu'l-Batool.

I am very honored to be here today in front of you and especially these speakers and these organizers. I want to tell you I feel shy when we want to speak about love of Sayyidina Muhammad. Salloo `ala Muhammad! However much we speak, when we speak about someone who has been described by Imam Busayri:

Muhammadun basharun

wa laysa kal-bashari

huwa yaqootatan

wa 'n-naasu ka 'l-hajari.

Muhammad is a man,

but not like other men;

he is a jewel

and men are like stones.

I am speaking from within the faith and, as such, I love my Prophet and I love his family as they are my family and they are the family of every mu'min and Muslim. Without them there is no life! Life comes through their love. That is our belief and the belief of many people here. When Allah created, and this is in hadith of Jabir, when he asked the Prophet (s), "What has Allah created first, yaa Muhammad?" and he replied, awaal maa khalaq Allahu noora nabiyyika yaa jaabir. "The first that Allah created is the Light of Muhammad."

How we can speak about the one that Allah created first as a Light from His Light?

قال الله تعالي في الحديث القدسي: لما أردت أن أخلق الخلق قبضت قبضة من نوري فقلت لها كوني محمدا ثم خلقت من نور محمد كل الأشياء

Qabadtu qabdatan min nooree wa qulta lahaa koonee Muhammad.

"I took a handful of My Light and said, 'Be, Muhammad!'"

And He told the Pen to write and it asked, "What am I going to write, O my Lord?"
He said, "Write laa ilaha illa-Llah," and according to many seerah and many traditions that came to us, the Pen wrote for who knows how many heavenly years
and stopped.

Then Allah told it, "Write!" and it asked, "What to write?"
He said, "Write, 'Muhammadun Rasoolullah.'"

Before writing, the Pen said, "Who is that one whom You put Your name with his Name?"
And Allah replied, Ta'adab, yaa qalam, "Keep respect, O Pen!! If not for Muhammad, I would not have created anything of Creation!"
And that love came directly from the Creator to His beloved one, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). So our love to him is insignificant as it doesn't give the right to Sayyidina Muhammad as the only one giving the true right to Muhammad is the Creator of Muhammad (s)!

O People! In every religion people love their prophets, and we are here explaining the importance of love of Prophet in Muslim behavior and Muslim life. It is said that when Adam (a) ate from the tree, he went into sajdah as he knew he committed a sin, and he was crying as he committed a sin. And it must be 40 heavenly years.

وَإِنَّ يَوْمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

wa inna yawman `inda rabbika ka alfi sannatin mimma ta`udoon.

Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning. (22:47)

So let us jump to the Day of Judgment. It is related in Adab al-Mufrad, a hadith about the Day of Judgment when everyone is shaking and shivering, and Allah manifests His Attribute to judge people and at that time there is no way to run away. Where to run? In the time of Sayyidina `Ali, karamallahu wajha, one time unbelievers came to him; unbelievers from the desert. They had no respect as they had no belief.
And they said, "Yaa `Ali, we don't believe there is a god." I don't know if they are relatives to Darwin or not, saying, "there is no god."
And Sayyidina `Ali, karam-allahu wajha wa `alayhi 's-salaam, after answering many of their questions, said to the head of unbelievers, "Is there coming a day when you and I will be the same?"
The head of unbelievers was thinking and he was intelligent. He said, "Yes, there is a day when you and me will be the same."

What is that day? Is it the day of birth? No. Is it a day in life? No. It is the day of death. When someone dies, now they are dead. There is a probability 50/50; both of them are dead.
Sayyidina `Ali said, "If there is a life after life, then I win, and if not, then I lose only 50 or 70 years (in struggling)."

Do you remember any of your life's pleasure now that it is gone? The moment you are living is the moment you have to consider.
So he said, "The chance is 50/50: if there is no god we are equal, and if we there is a god then I succeed and I have someone that will be for me, I have intercession of the one I love, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!"

I am Sunni but I have that love. My mother is descended from Sayyidina al-Hasan and my father is a descendant of Sayyidina al-Husayn, and we feel obliged to cry for their suffering. As described by the two speakers before, how much the Prophet (s) and his Companions (r) suffered to bring this religion to us on a golden plate! It is narrated in the book, Adab al-Mufrad of Imam Bukhari (r), that on Day of Judgment when people are shivering from fear of that day, Adam and all his children will come to the Prophet (s), as he said:

عن ابى سعيد الخدرى ادم فمن دونه تحت لوائى يوم القيامة ولا فخر

Adam wa man doonahu tahta liwaaihi yawma 'l-qiyaamah wa laa fakhr...

Adam (and who is below Adam) will be under my flag, under my shafa`ah on the Day of Judgment, and I say it without pride.

And the Prophet (s) said, انا لها,  "I will be for it (shafa`a)." So Prophet, with all the love he has for humanity, goes into sajda and says, "Allah opens to my heart dua’s and prayers and rituals that He never opened before." And in any school of thought you find thousands of du`as put together in Arabic and other languages. And if Prophet (s) says he is inspired with du`as never heard before, is the Arabic language going to change? Or is it going to be putting together different letters? Like the first letters in some surahs like alif, lam, meem, and kaf, ha, `ayn, seen, saad, and Allah (swt) will open to him the meaning that are in these letters. And then after being in sajda, Allah will say to him, s'al tu`ta, "Raise your head and ask!" Prophet (s) doesn't need to defend himself.

O Muslims! Shame on me and shame on us that we came to a time that, as has been mentioned, we have to defend our religion! No, we don't have to defend our religion! Our religion is a heavenly religion led by a heavenly messenger that left behind him the Holy Qur'an and his family!! That is enough for defending and protecting! Don't worry, haqq is coming!

وَقُلْ جَاء الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

qad jaa al-haqq wa zahaq al-baatil inna 'l-baatila kaana zahooqa.

And say: "Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish."  (17:81)

yakhruj waladun min awladee, yamla al-ardu adlan wa qistan kama muliya dhulman wa jooran.
Truth has come and falsehood has perished, and a son of my sons will come who will fill the Earth with truth and justice as it was filled with falsehood and oppression.

And we cannot say that Holy Qur'an is words that exist in time: it is Allah (swt's) holy Ancient Words that have no beginning and no end. (...)  ummatee ummattee, Prophet (s) will ask, "My nation, my nation." Allahumma salli wa sallim `ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa sharraf wa karram wa `azham. He says, "I will not enter Paradise before my nation."

It is our duty to love Prophet in our life, because Allah (swt) ordered in Holy Qur'an; not to think about loving him every two hours, but all the time, inna Allah wa mala`ikatahu yusalloona `ala an-nabi. It is an order to praise Muhammad (s) and love him in every moment in our life!! "Allah and His angels," he didn't say sallu `ala an-nabi nor salla `ala an-nabi, but "continuously" in present tense, yusallooon `ala an-nabi, it means show him your love if you want to follow the order of Allah! It is an order, if you love Prophet, you enter Paradise. If you love Prophet, it means you love Allah!

And he says, "I won't enter without my ummah," and Allah says, "Take one-third of them to Paradise with no account.!" And then Prophet (s) says he will go into sajda again and makes du`a inspired to his heart. Then Allah (swt) says, "Take the half of those who remain. And then he goes into sajda the third time and asks on behalf of his nation, and Allah (swt) says, "Take all of them, all but one." And who is that one? That must be the worst one. And Allah looks at that one and says, "I put that love of my servant in the heart of my servant, Muhammad, and with the mercy that I sent every one to Paradise, I will send that one to Paradise."

So Muslims, non-Muslims, we must keep love, as that is Allah's heavenly situation to His servants. When you are young you love your parents; when you are older your children will love you. This life is built on love, and if love is lost then there will be turbulence as we see today. This life is built on love. And Allah (swt) said, "If you really love Allah, yaa Muhammad, say to them, 'love Muhammad and Allah will love you.'" That speaker from England just now was showing love of Muhammad (s), and I hope to meet him there also, and we hope to show this love to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) by following his ways.

O People! Religious people and non-religious people, Allah (swt) said in Qur’an:

لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

law anzalna hadha al-Qur’an ala jabalin la-raaytahu khashi`an mutasaddi`an min khashyatillahi wa tilka 'l-amthaalu nadribuha li 'n-naasi la`allahum yatafakkaroon.

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou would have seen it humble itself and crumble for fear of AllahA Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. (59:21)

If we revealed that Qur’an on a mountain, that mountain would have shattered into pieces from fear and love. That is what Qur’an carries from secrets. That is why Prophet (s) said:

انا مدينة العلم و علي بابها

Anaa madeenatu'l-`ilmi wa `aliyyun baabuhaa.

"I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its door."

That means there is irfaan there that we cannot understand except through interpretations. Now today, all they are looking into is how to show Holy Qur’an is harsh. No, this is the system they are working through, but no one can harm one letter of Holy Qur’an. Allah (swt) said, "If we revealed that Qur’an on a mountain, it would shatter." What do you think then of that mountain Allah revealed the Qur’an to? If a dunya mountain will shatter, it means the Earth will shatter; but the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad did not shatter!! That heart that is carrying the meaning of Holy Qur’an and no one can reach these secrets except a few of his Sahaba (r) and his Ahlu ‘l-Bayt (r)!! Today they left that behind and people are only interested in how to pray, fast, make ablution, ghusl and to enter with th right or left foot.

They left behind the practices of Maqam al-Ihsan, the Station of Moral Excellence! When you say Allahu akbar and enter your prayer, know Allah is seeing you. And I will read that to our expert in Arabic, in a different way and he might understand. One of these ascetics, zuhada, mutasawifeen, said it this way:

قال: فأخبرني عن الإحسان، قال: أن تعبد الله كأنك تراه، فإن لم تكن تراه فإنه يراك

Qaala fa akhbirnee `ani 'l-ihsaan. Qaal: an ta`bud Allah ka-annaka taraah wa in lam takun taraah fa innahu yaraah.

And he (Jibreel) asked what is Ihsaan? He said, "It is to worship Allah as if you are seeing Him, for if you are not seeing Him, surely He is seeing you."

And he read another way. fa in lam takun, stop, taraah. "If you demolish your ego within yourself completely, then you will see." There is a mountain between us and seeing the Prophet (s). His family all gave their lives for Prophet (s) and the Sahaba all killed their egos. And that Maqam al-Ihsan or irfaan is a very important aspect in Islam and we aren’t touching on that! That is the only way to reach the real love of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!

O Muslims! I will tell you one thing: in the time of Ottomans that ruled the Muslim world for 700 years, when the sultan was sitting with his ministers and cabinets and the Prophet's name was mentioned, they all stood up, even if mentioned 100 times! Our hearts must stand, as our outside standing is not what is sought. If our child is sick and with fever we are up all night checking them. Our hearts, are they up all night with desire to remember Prophet? The heart has been mentioned ninety-seven times in Holy Qur’an in different verses, and in a holy (revealed) hadith in which Allah (swt) said to Prophet:

من عادى لي ولياً فقد آذنته بحرب مني، وما تقرب لي عبدي بشيء أحب إلي مما افترضته عليه، ومازال عبدي يتقرب إلي بالنوافل حتى أحبه فإذا أحببته كنت سمعه الذي يسمع به وبصره الذي يبصر به ويده التي يبطش بها وقدمه التي يمشي بها وإذا سألني لأعطينه وإذا استغفرني لأغفرن له وإذا استعاذني أعذته
Sayyidina Muhammad (s) said in a hadith qudsi, it was revealed to him, Maa zaala `abdee yataqaraba ilayya bi 'n-nawaafil hatta uhibah. Fa idhaa ahbabtahu kuntu sama`ulladhee yasma`u bihi wa basarahulladhee yubsiru bihi, wa yadahulladhee yubtishu bihaa wa lisaanahulladhee yatakallama bih wa qadamahu 'llatee yamshee bihi...
My servant does not cease to approach Me through voluntary worship until I will love him. When I love him, I will become the ears with which he hears, the eyes with which he sees, the hand with which he acts, and the tongue with which he speaks, and the foot with which he walks in My Way.

H
ow to become like that? What is mentioned in that holy hadith? It is mentioned as nawaafil (voluntary), not the five prayers, not the obligations. To follow the Prophet's sunnah of additional worship. When you do that, Allah will love you. Then you can do anything you like. That is because:
قلب المومن بيت الرب

qalb al-mumin baytu ‘r-rabb.

The heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.

And before I end, I will say this. Don’t say it is not important, but to build up youth to be on a more moderate line of Islam and to understand they have to do their best as this dunya is not going on forever. As Muslims and other believers say that this dunya is not going to last forever, and as the Prophet (s) mentioned:

قال رسول الله ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏إن من ‏أشراط ‏الساعة أن يرفع العلم ويظهر الجهل...
قال رسول اللّه صلى اللّه عليه وسلم: إن اللّه لا يقبض العلم انتزاعا ينتزعه من الناس ولكن يقبض العلم بقبض العلماء، ...

"In the Last Days knowledge will be lifted up." And they said, “Will Qur’an be lifted up?”

He said, “No, but those who understand the Qur’an well will be removed.”

So we see that those imaams that came from Shi`a Twelver perspective or from Sunni imaams died.

“And then at that time, someone from my family will come who will fill Earth with justice when it is filled with ignorance.” yakthur al-jahl.

And when the Jibreel (a) asked, Prophet (s) said, “The one who is asked doesn’t know more than the one who asks.” That is out of humbleness. Of course he has knowledge of first and lasts.

And when asked about its signs, `allimnee bi `alamaata, “When you see the barefooted ignorant Bedouins competing in building high rises,” that is not from me, that is hadith of Prophet. That is in first chapter of Bukhari, the people of the desert:

وأن ترى الحفاة العراة العالة رعاء الشاء يتطاولون في البنيان

wa an taraa al-huffaat al-`arraat  al-`aalat ru`aa ash-shaa' yatataawaloon fi 'l-bunyaan.

You will see the barefoot, naked, destitute bedouin shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings.

You go to the deserts, you see these people don't wear even sandals, and yet they are competing now to build the highest buildings. Whatever they say is it far, but in fact:

اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ

iqtarabat as-sa`at w 'anshaq al-qamr.

The Hour approached and the moon split. (54:1)

There is nothing left, O Muslims, but to love our brothers and sisters and our mothers and leave egoism and stubbornness. When egoism goes, love and peace can come.

Q&A Session

Question: What is moderation in Islam?

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: Moderation in Islam is to keep to yourself, don't bother others. We are a moderate ummah. We don't go to both extremes. We are not so liberal and we are not so extreme. Think and then follow. When you think with your ego you are going to fall down. Try as much as possible that what you love to yourself you love to your brothers.

Question: How can we achieve Shi`a/Sunni unity?
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: We are one tree, that which we take from the trunk who is the Prophet, and the branches and fruits are on all sides we can take from everyone.

Question: Does the aspect of infallibility of the Prophet take away from his genius and smartness as administrator and governor of a country?
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: No for sure not, the `isma that the Prophet carried, as every other prophet carried, does not take the power of a governor but will give more power to govern and do things and the infallibility of Prophet did not come when he became messenger, but was with him since his birth. And as Shaykh Ammar said, I forgot but it was something important. that heaven...

Question: When you mentioned the name of the Prophet many people stood up. What is significance of that? And you touched on forgiveness, please explain what it is and how to forgive someone from your heart?
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: we stand out of respect for president or king. So of course we stand for respect of our Prophet. Regarding forgiveness: it is to have power; when you have power over someone to forgive is very difficult. Take the example of Sayyidina al-Husayn, when he was at Karbala and he asked water for `Ali al-asghar, who was 7 months of age, and the army of Yazeed refused and his son died. And he asked for his family many things and they refused. And Sayyidina al-Husayn said to the followers of Yazeed, "On the Day of Judgment how will you feel when you face my grandfather? Will he forgive you or not?" So forgiveness is when you have power to punish, but you do not. That is the highest level.

Question: Is the beard mandatory or traditional for Muslims and what length is recommended?

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: I will answer the question. I was one day in Ka`aba sitting, and watching the Ka`aba is `ibaadah. And one of amr bi 'l-ma`roof wa 'n-nahy `ani 'l-munkar was coming to me (those who command the good and forbid the evil. Mutawa`een)  (laughter) and he is looking at me and saying, "Yaa Shaykh! You are an example for everyone here. Why you are having a long beard? Islamically it is one qabdah, hand-length. so why you have it long?"

I didn't answer. He went but he was very angry. He saw me the next day and he said “I want to ask you why you have long beard?"

I said,

أحفوا الشوارب وأعفوا اللحى

The Prophet said, huff ash-shawaarib wa `afuw `anil-laha.

Trim the moustache and leave the beard.

The Prophet's beard had the natural character that it reached one hand's-length and it broke off by itself, and since it is left to us, as my wife likes it long, I don't mind. But you, you are not ashamed to ask me when you are shaved?”

Who Are the Troublemakers?
Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani
26 March 2010    Lefke, Cyprus
Suhbah after Jumu`ah Khutbah

Madad yaa RijaalAllah. Madad yaa Saahib az-Zamaan. Madad yaa Sultaanu 'l-Awliya.

As-salaamu `alaykum! Welcome to you! Shab`aneen, full or hungry? Hungry? Angry! As-salaamu `alaykum! Marhaban, marhaban, marhaban! As-salaamu `alaykum! How are your heads? The Germans are very angry because they do not understand and you understand only wie geht es, while the Pakistanis surrendered to their women without covering on their heads, while the Turks do not ask, (they) have the solution. The Arabs fight amongst themselves, and the Prophet (s) said, “Mahdi (a) will be among the Arab tribes and their opponents.” In Lebanon, most of our Lebanese brothers contradict and if one says “white” the other says “no,” and if one says “black” the other says “white.”

Dastoor yaa RijaalAllah. Madad yaa Sultanu 'l-Awliya. If there is no heavenly support, we are nothing and we know nothing, but much knowledge that benefits people do not know, and each one has a different understanding. We are asking (for knowledge), and saying we are knowing nothing. So many knowledges, but which one is giving benefit to people they are not understanding because each one has a different understanding.

As, once upon a time the raja, prince of an Indian tribe, brought an elephant and then brought a lot of blind ones, and said to them, "What is in front of you, say."

One was reaching his trunk, saying, "This is a big pipe."

Another was catching the elephant's ear and saying, "This in front of me is a fan."

One was catching from its tail and looking and saying, "This is a brush."

Another one was catching his feet and saying, "This is a pillar of a building."

Another one was making like this (patting), "This looks like a wall of a castle."

Every understanding is going to be different, everyone is saying according to their senses and understanding because they are blind people. And we are saying now, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem, for Shaytan not to come here to make our people angry toward each other or to me. Yes, if coming, it is coming to make trouble, because the greatest troublemaker is Shaytan! And teaching how a person must be a troublemaker, saying to them, "Make trouble to others so that one is not going to make trouble for you." Therefore, everyone is a troublemaker now because they think, "If I make trouble for that one, he can't do anything against me, he can't trouble me!" So that whole nation is filled with troublemakers from their head up to their feet and everyone is trying, because that one may create trouble, and everyone is looking to a second one with bad ideas. Everyone is thinking, "That is against me; he may give me trouble now or in the future."

SubhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits), Mawla-i-Kareem, He is warning, "O People! Mostly people are troublemakers." Only you can find a few people who are not troublemakers. Who are they, O Salafi `ulamas? Once again, O Salafi `ulamas, who they are that are not making trouble to servants of the Lord? We are saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. What is coming to me I shall speak, but I am asking Salafi `ulamas, who are safe from being troublemakers? Can't be, must be some ones that are not making trouble for people. First of all, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem! Therefore, I am asking Salafi `ulamas, who are those that are making trouble for others, for servants of Allah? It is important to know them, yes. If you are not knowing them, they are kicking you out because they are representatives of Shaytan and they have been graduated by Shaytan.

Who are those people who are not troublemakers? I am asking now through mamlaka, kingdom, as they know in the Islamic world, much more powerful and greatness dressed on them. One country is sitting at the heart of Muslim countries, and `ulamas in that kingdom are thinking also that they are kings of `ulamas all over the world and everywhere `ulamas must learn from them, must listen to them, must follow to them!!! But I am asking you to say to me, are you warning troublemakers daily or not? There are so many people, as we said, who are troublemakers.

Marhaban, O Salafu 's-Saliheen `ulamas! You are reciting Qur'an Kareem? "Oh yes sir, day and night, laylan wa nahaara." Very good, I like it. And one question I must ask you, because you are looking at yourself sitting on a tower and people are downstairs (beneath you). Say to me, who are the troublemakers and who are those not giving trouble? I think that this is a strange question, but it is important. Say! I am asking for an answer. You may say through your broadcasting or writing or any way you may send me an answer about troublemakers! You know who are troublemakers. How we can save ourselves from them? What is Allah Almighty saying and ordering for saving ourselves from troublemakers? Are you remembering ayatun kareema? Say, if you are remembering. It is never passing through your mind what we are reminding you. If you have some secret knowledge about holy verses of Holy Qur'an, you must understand. What they are saying to me here, they are pointing to an answer also, because I am not claiming I am knowing, but what they are saying to me I am knowing.

Say, you say! "We are `alims from Pakistan, from Turkestan, from Arabistan." Who is that one that can answer me? If you like to be safe from troublemakers, what must you do? Yes, in old times when there were battles between armies, when one side of true armies saw in front of them a much more powerful army and they must take them away, where were they running? Now I am saying, and in mamlakah, kingdom, there was one in Madinatu 'l-Munawwarah (Mawlana Shaykh stands.) `ala saakinaha afdal as-salaatu wa 's-salaam, (Mawlana Shaykh sits.) there was a fortress or castle against troublemakers, and when they asked to run in Madinatu 'l-Munawwarah to defeat them, people ran from those troublemakers to the fortress. Now we are saying, they are making me to say that, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, we are in need now of a fortress to run in it, to be there so we can be in safety from troublemakers! Yes? Bilaadikum mawjood, fortress, too much, everywhere. This is an example to make people wake up. They can make me to speak just like I am reading a book, but they are making such positions to make people wake up and think! If they are not thinking, not-thinking one are animals and now people leave thinking.

"O Shaykh, why we are going to think? We now have new technologia named 'Internet.'" We are not in need to think on it, we are making ... through foot or hands, small ones, we are making our fingers like this, like that, and we are not in need for thinking. Just pressing a button and I am looking like this. Is Shaytan in it? Must be so many shaytans, yes sir. People are not thinking now, giving everything to machines and they are surrendering to Shaytan, saying, "We are under your orders."

Now they are making me to make a clarification. That is an important question that I am asking also, not only to Salafi `ulamas, but I am also asking from non-Muslim world's chiefs. I am asking to His Holiness the Pope, and he is going around but he is not speaking on such subjects. He is making like this, like this (nodding), it is not enough. Even one billion popes can't do anything for the Christian world. Rabbis also, a billion rabbis can't do anything for their nation, or other nations. I don't think that in Pakistan, or Hindustan `ulamas, Samarkand, Tashkent, Damascus `ulamas, in Egypt, very proud also to be Azhari 'sh-Shareef. Shaykhu 'l-Azhari 'sh-Shareef, I am asking to you, how can we can save ourselves from Shaytan and its troubles?

That is important for the whole world, and no one up to today is asking this. How can we save ourselves from the troubles of Shaytan? What is a fortress for Muslims to save themselves from Shaytan and its followers, jahanamiyyoon? If the Christian world's chief is not knowing the way for what we are saying, to save people from Shaytan and its tricks and traps and its troubles, all nations are in troubles on behalf of Shaytan, nothing else. That is an important speech! You must listen, you must say, "We are on the wrong way and (must change to) the right way to save ourselves from Shaytan's troubles."

Astiazubillah! (Mawlana Shaykh stands.)

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

Yaa ayyuha 'l-ladheena aamanoo ittaqullaha wa koonu ma` as-saadiqeen.

O you who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed). (9:119)

Salafi `ulamas, am I wrong? Saheeh, or ghalat (true or false)? Say! Idhaa fee kalamee ayyi khataa fa 'l-yadhabu ila jahannam. "That shaykh is speaking wrong." If the shaykh is speaking wrong, you must go to Jahannam! (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

One aayatun kareemah, asking Shaykh ul-Azhar, if what I am understanding, I am not understanding but I have been supported with heavenly ones' support and authorized on lowest leveled one as who cleans streets, true or not? Wa koonu ma` as-saadiqeen. Allah Almighty is saying, "If you are asking to be in a heavenly fortress, you will find the door through saadiqeen." Say to me now, you Salafu 's-Saalih, Salafi `ulamas, say with whom you are now! Don't say to me who passed away, no, say to me now. There are saadiqeen, so many. Even if they are a handful, yes, say to me, which one you are following that we may follow him also! We are not following you! But if you are saying saadiqeen, are saadiqeen only three people? You are wrong, no way for nations to be saved here and Hereafter, only if three are true ones! Yes. OK? OK? Anyone may come here and say! I am catching my stick here, if coming against ayatun kareemah, if I am hitting on his head, going to be like this (splits). Sometimes this may be a sword making from up to down. Believe in reality that prophets are bringing from heavens!

Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq. Fatihah.

True or not? Marhaban Salafi `ulamas, ha-ha! Fatihah.

Unexpected. I was not thinking to speak on this, but it is so important for the whole world!

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah

Fatihah.

Sayyidina Muhammad (s) Is Haadir (Present)

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

15 March 2010    Lefke, Cyprus

Dastoor yaa Sayyidee, madad (Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Laa ilaaha illa-Llah. Laa ilaaha illa-Llah. Laa ilaaha illa-Llah Sayyidina Muhammadun Habeebullah wa Rasoolullah nur `arshillah `alayhi alfu, alfu salaat, alfu alfu salaam, yaa Rasoolullah ishfa` lanaa sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam! (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy,

Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy,

Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy,

Hayyyyyyy, Hayyyyyyy, Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, Huuuuuu.

Madad, yaa Sultan al-Awliya! We know nothing. We are trying to know what is best. Teach us, O our Grandshaykh (q), teach us,O Sultan of this world, grant us what you have been granted from the heavenly Sultan! Huuuuu. They are asking for such a grant that may support our real beings so that they are not going to be tired. Tiring is a sign of vanishing and finishing. When a person is getting tired fully, that means he is leaving this life or just he left it. Therefore, if a person is going to leave this life for the Next Life, he is coming down, down, down from one-hundred, coming to be ninety, eighty, seventy, sixty, fifty, forty, thirty, twenty, ten and zero, finishing.

Huuuuuuu. As-salaamu `alaykum, our attenders! Give much more care for listening because your care is supporting that one who is addressing you. As much as you are giving much more care, much more power is coming from the heavens for the whole of Creation on this planet.

O Salafi `ulamas! As-salaamu `alaykum also, we must say, salaam; we are saying, salaam, not saying saam. A holy book was granted to nations, and some munaafiqoon, hyprocrites came to the Prophet (s), and instead of saying, As-salaamu `alaykum, they said, saam`alaykum (may death be on you.) And the Prophet (s) replied, Wa `alaykum (and to you). Say, As-salaamu `alaykum.

O People! Salaam brings salaamat, peace to you. Therefore, as much as possible say as-salaamu `alaykum, as it is a heavenly grant coming on you more, and you are going to be much more energetic. But those who are leaving saying, “As-salaamu `alaykum,” are coming, coming down, down, to the point of being nothing, nothing, nothing, finishing, finishing, finishing (in a very weak voice).

Therefore, salaam is from Allah Almighty. It is coming first to the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad, alfu salaat, alfu salaam `alayka yaa sayyida 'l-awwaleen wa 'l-akhireen, yaa Habeebullah sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam. (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.) Continue to say salaam.

O People! If you like to live longer and happier, and an honored life, that salaam grants to you and to Mankind heavenly powers, peace and lights, endless hopes and endless pleasure. As-salaamu `alaykum!! Say it! Everything that the prophets (a) are bringing from heavens are for our benefits. Yeah? Arabic and Turkish, I am speaking fluent English. My English is more than what Shakespeare was speaking! (laughter) Shakespeare was speaking and using such beautiful statements, beautiful speech to people only, but it was not continuously; when you are reading, that pleasure was coming instantly and going quickly. But heavenly words are giving to you pleasure, opening to you a pleasure fountain, yes, giving to you. But people lost their understanding about being on this planet and with which thing their beings are going to continue with pleasure. Now people are thinking their pleasure is only eating and drinking and dancing. But that, it is not pleasure. Pleasure, for one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine hours, then finished. It is a high pleasure for a material being.

Spirituality's pleasure comes to you, makes you happy and in peace, in pleasement and in pleasure. Coming, and one is going to be two. One power next time is going to be two, next time it is going to be three, next time it is coming to be four. You may feel all of these pleasures when you are leaving, at your last breathing, then it will be coming on you as a dress, that pleasure. Therefore, the happiest day for a mu'min, for a real believer, will be the last, yawmu liqaa'ihi bi Rabbih, the Day we finally face Allah (swt), liqaa Allah. That moment he will be granted such a pleasure. If you're collecting everyone's pleasures through time, you can't reach such a sweetness and peace and pleasure and pleasement as when your soul is getting out, as it is then covered with such a pleasure, that if it is going to be divided for whole nations, for whole Mankind, their miseries and sufferings will leave them instantly! That is pleasure!

O People! Come and say, As-salaamu `alaykum! What happiness, what pleasure, what pleasement, what endless pleasure for you, last moment. All that now, it is just closed, but will be opening at that time. Once the Prophet (s) said for mu'min, the most pleasement and pleasure is the day when he is reaching to his Lord's Divinely Presence.

O People! Therefore, yaa Salafi `ulamas, what are you saying? It is wrong? Not wrong! You are only objecting if we are saying, As-salaamu `alayka yaa Sayyidu 'l-awwaleen wa 'l-akhireen, "Peace be upon you master, from the first to the last." That is making you like majnoon (insane). You are never digesting that word if we are saying, as-salaamu `alayka. Why saying, `alayka? And I am saying this because Prophet (s) is there! If for shuhadaa', martyrs, Allah Almighty is saying hum

بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ

bal ahyaaun `inda Rabbihim yurzaqoon.

Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; (3:169)

Shuhudaa', He is going to be witness for their lives and saying they are living, what are you saying, that the Seal of Prophets (s) is dead? Can't be. If he is lying, whole Creation is going to disappear through the Power Oceans of the Lord of Heavens.

O Wahabi People! Try for an understanding! I am a weak one, but I am coming to change your wrong beliefs. Come and accept reality! And Allah Almighty is saying (Mawlana Shaykh stands.)

innallaha wa malaa`ikaatuhu yussalloona `ala 'n-Nabi, yaa ayyuha alladheena aamanoo salloo `alayhi wasallimoo tasleema.

llah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. (33:56)

"Allah and His angels pray for Prophet Muhammad (s) continuously." What is that? `Adhaamat, greatness! That is an endless honoring and glorifying for the Seal of Prophets (s)!! How are you saying, "Don’t say, as-salaatu was salaam? What is that foolishness from you, Wahabi people? (Mawlana Shaykh sits.) Allah Almighty is giving from His Honor Oceans and Glorifying Oceans to His most beloved one, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.)

O People! Therefore, I am saying, As-salaamu `alaykum, as as-salaatu was-salaam is only for the Seal of Prophets (s).You are taking what you are saying, and you are being rewarded from heavens such an honor that no one can imagine the reality of that honor! People may give honor to each other here, but it is going to be like an atom beside, bahr al-muheet, an endless ocean.

Why are you insisting, why are you not accepting that it is your nation coming, min bilaadin ba`eedatin, bi dhunoobin katheeratin (from lands far away, with many sins). And there hearts are full with love of that one who is the beloved one in the Divinely Presence. Why are you making so many efforts of the worst of ignorance, endless objecting on them, and saying, "Don't say, don’t do, don’t say, don't do!" Why are you making this? Is that what Salafu 's-Salih are teaching you? Salafu 's-Salih, who are they? Sahaaba first, tabi`een second, taba` taabi`een third. From which one of these holy people's tabaqaat, levels, are you taking this learning? Which one of them taught you to prevent people from saying, as-salaamu `alayka on Prophet (s) and to not say salaat wa 's-salaam after adhaan? Who is saying to you? Who is giving you such an authority? Who taught you this? Come to Ahlu’l-Sunnah wa’l-Jama`ah! If not, you will be punished and you will be regretting. That is a heavenly judgment. Before you are leaving this life you must taste ajalak, the bitterness of punishment; you will taste it, so beware and think!

I am a weak person, a weak one. Who is making me to speak? You know Arabic, what is Allah (swt) saying to sinners on the Day of Resurrection, the Judgment Day? Questioning so many people and they are going to deny, "We didn't do this, we didn't do that." And the holy command is coming, "Oh close your mouth, don't speak! But your tongue will speak, your hands and feet will speak! That person is going to be so surprised. "Oh, our organs! How are you speaking and your speaking is against us! How are you speaking?" What was the answer of our organs?
أَنطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ
antaqa'nallahu 'Lladhee antaqa kulla shay.
They will say: "(Allah) hath given us speech,- (He) Who gives speech to everything. (41:21)

They will say, "That One who is making anything to speak is ordering us to speak, and we are speaking now. It is not through our will. No, it is His will. He is
commanding, 'Say the truth!'" Therefore, don't say, "Who are you to speak?" You must say, at least what organs are going to say on Day of Resurrection.antaqa'nallahu 'Lladhee antaqa kulla shay.

You may say (about me), "That is a weak servant, an old servant. The Lord of Heavens is making him to address or remind us what is coming on the Day of Resurrection." Therefore, think on it. I know nothing, but this is a caution, and caution is important, p
articularly for Wahhabi people. Leave taassub, fanaticism, and come to the big crowd of Muslims, because the Seal of Prophet (s) said, `alaykum bi 's-sawaadu 'l-aadham. "O my nation! If you are looking that my nation has just separated into two parts and you are coming on them, don't be surprised on which one I must go." Prophet (s) was saying where there is a great mass, "O my nation, go with them!" How many Wahhabi people are through Ahlu’l-Sunnah wa’l-Jama`ah? They may answer, a million, two million, ten million, fifty million, one-hundred million? And you think there are much more than one-hundred million you can find on your same `itiqaad, beliefs? Your beliefs are wrong! And sawaadu 'l-aadham Ahlu’l-Sunnah wa’l-Jama`ah are the great majority with Sahaaba (r). When Sahaaba are visiting with Rasoolullah (s) they are saying, As-salaamu `alayka, not, alayhi 'salaam. Because for li 'l-hadir (present), you must use salaamu `alayka, and for li 'l-ghayb (hidden) you may say, `alayhi 'salaam

I am asking a question, making me to ask a question. Allah Almighty saying,

وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ

Wa'alamoo anna feekum Rasoolullah

And know that in you is Allah's Messenger. (49:7)

"Prophet is with you." Yes? How we are making Rasoolullah ghalaadh, upset? That means Allah Almighty is saying, "He is with you, with you, in yourself." Say to his real being, As-salaatu wa 's-salaamu `alayka yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah.

O Salafi `ulamas! Look and ask for some wisdoms, and endless wisdoms are in the Holy Qur’an. Use it and you may understand so many things. That is only a reminder for such days. It is just informed that there will be ikhtilaafi 'l-ummati. The nation of the Seal of Prophets (s) is going to be in so many groups or parts, dividing. `Alaykum, to be with me and with my followers! (laughter) You are not following Rasoolullah? You are not following the Holy Qur’an? You are not following the Sahaabas, companions of the Prophet (s)?

May Allah (swt) forgive us and grant us a good understanding and hikmah, wisdoms. O our Lord, forgive us! Laa ilaaha illa-Llah, laa ilaaha illa-Llah, laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa Sayyidina nabiyyina, Muhammadur-Rasoolullah `alayhi salaatullah wa salaamuh. (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.)

Fatihah.

Dome dome, dome dome.

Dome dome, dome dome.

Dome dome, dome dome.

Dome dome, dome dome.

(Mawlana Shaykh sings in Turkish.)

Yaa Muhammad, canım arzular seni.

Dost Muhammad, canım pek sever seni.

Padışah konmaz saraya hane mamur olmadan.
kenz açılmaz şol gönülden ta ki pür nur olmyınca.

Yaa Muhammad, my soul is yearning for you.
Yaa Muhammad, you are my true love.
A king is not put in a palace before it is adorned.
A heart's treasure is unlocked only when that heart is purified.

You may say, "You are speaking Turkish.” Yes, and you are not understanding. We are living in the time of jabaabira, tyrants. They are preventing other nations from learning Arabic, and their headquarters are preventing Arabs from learning Turkish or Persian languages. Yes, before English, French or Russian, we must learn Arabic. If they are not Arabs but Muslims, they must try to learn the Arabic language. And Arabs also must reach to make a silaah, connection with the whole Muslim world. They must try to learn also Turkish, or Persian, or Urdu before English and French and German. You must learn this.

May Allah forgive me, forgive you and make us to reach to Sayyidina Mahdi (a).

Fatihah. Ameen.

(42 minutes.)

That is okay, it doesn't matter. As-salaamu `alaykum.

Why Are You Not Following the Companions, O Salafi `Ulama?
Sultan al-Awliya
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani
17 March 2010     Lefke, Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Dastoor yaa Sayyidee, madad. La ilaha illa-Llah, la ilaha illa-Llah, la ilaha illa-Llah, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Nabiyyuna Rasoolullah, Habeebullah Nooru 'l-`Arshillah! (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

As-salamu `alaykum yaa `ibaadAllah,
O servants of our Lord! Service is the highest honor for all humanity, the level of angels and their honor is different, and the honor of humans is one hundred percent different. We know that the highest level of honor for humanity is service. Thumma wa salamu `alaykum yaa Sayyidee, yaa Sultanu 'l-Awliya of the world on this planet. We ask for your heavenly support; we can't say anything here and we cannot understand anything if your celestial support does not reach us!

And we are saying, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytan 'r-rajeem. Shaytan always asks to make people living with a wrong understanding and wrong efforts and wrong actions, and wrong life. And we are running to the representative of the Lord of Heavens to grant us from heavenly support, so we may be able to face wrong people, and wrong creation, and wrong ideas and wrong beliefs. Everything that it is wrong, we are running to that one who is responsible for Mankind's every action now or in coming days.

O People! We are saying, bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem. Take heavenly swords against shaytanic centers, against shaytanic ideas, shaytanic understandings, shaytanic wrong beliefs. Take through your hands bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem. That is our power for heavenly sword, for making every wrong ideas with their people who are always on the wrong way with wrong ideas. Now we are saying, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem gives to you power, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is reaching to every point of our bodies and when we are saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, that is a heavenly grant. If a person is saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, those holy words and lights through nineteen letters no one can understand. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is nineteen letters, not completing to twenty. That is, no one knows how to make it to twenty, leaving "one" and "nine," and they are full with secret knowledge and secret powers that may bring a dead body back to life. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem!

Once there was Hassan al-Basri (q), do you know about that, Salafi `ulamas? Have you heard about Hassan al-Basri? I think he was Taabi`een, that he reached to the Sahaaba (r), companions of the Seal of Prophets (s). To reach one of them gives so many honors to people, because Sahaaba (r) are fountains, springs of heavenly life subjects. There are those who are reaching to them, reaching a pleasure with that life that is just to reach Sahaaba (r), yes. If you are saying you are belonging to Salafi us-Saalih, are you adding Hassan al-Basri as one of them? You must know about Salafu 's-Saalih, about the time of Sahaaba (r), Companions of the Seal of Prophets (s). Then coming followers of Sahaaba (r), the Taabi`een, then coming followers of them, Taabi` at-Taabi`een. Rasoolullah (s) gave from his secret knowledge to his Companions and they are the most strong ones, because they were a foundation for building on Islam so they must be the most powerful. If a person builds a high building, he is putting under it a strong foundation to carry it. Therefore, Sahaaba, Companions are the most powerful ones to carry Islam and its heavy responsibilities up to the Day of Resurrection.

Who is your Salafu 's-Saalih? You may say some names. I am asking those people who are claiming, "We are following Salafu 's-Saalih," how many from them do you know? How many do you know their names, their situations, their positions, their identities and their real beings? When the Seal of Prophets (s) reached to his Lord's Divinely Presence, he left behind him on Earth 124,000 Companions, Sahaaba (r). If you are Salafu 's-Saalih, are you adding those or are you throwing them away? Why are you saying, “We are followers of Salafu 's-Saalih,” and not saying, "We are followers of Sahaaba (r)." Why are you making a distinction?

Salafu 's-Saalih, are taking their heavenly knowledge that you can't find on Earth; that is important for whole nations to teach on Earth! Why are you saying, Salafu 's-Saalih? Sahaaba (r) are Salafu 's-Saalih! And Prophet (s) saying, ashaabee kan-nujoom bi ayyihim aqtadaytum ahtadaytum, “My Companions are like the stars, whichever one you follow you will be guided.” Please write those Salafu 's-Saalih names in your books! Our goal may be with saying, Salafu 's-Saalih, we are thinking or we are asking to make clear for people some ones. Don't say, "The Salafu 's-Saalih are saying... and then quote from ibn al-Qayyim, ibn Taymiyya, ibn Abdul-Wahab (leaders of Salafi School)." Three of them only, and you are taking away 124,000 of them (Sahaaba)?

O Salafi `ulamas, you say, “Sahaaba (r) were not Salafu 's-Saalih." WHAT DO YOU MEAN? That means that Islam just finished. Do you think that the building of Islam can be carried with three columns? Man shadha shadha feen-naari `abadan, “Who deviates, deviates in the Fire forever.” To part yourself from the majority; you are leaving greatness, sawaad al-`azham, the vast majority. You may be a handful of people and yet you are saying, “We are Salafu 's-Saalih and we are on the right way.” No, you are on the wrong way! You say, “We are a great majority." Why are you saying you are majority? What are you doing? To where are your opinions and beliefs reachingLaa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem.

أصحابي كالنجوم بأيهم اقتديتم اهتديتم

Ashaabee ka 'n-nujoom bi-ayyihim aqtadaytum ahtadaytum

The Prophet saying, "My companions are like stars; whichever one you follow you are on the right way and reaching to Paradise."

You are reaching to Paradise, yes. Therefore, it is a terrible responsibility now for a handful of people to say, "We are Salafis, you must follow us;" we are not following you! We are following the Seal of Prophet's Companions, then Taabi`een, and then Taabi` at-Taabi`een. Are you saying al-Qayyim, ibn Taymiyya, and ibn `Abdul-Wahab are not added? You are taking yourselves out from vast majority, the greatness of Muslims and you are shooting at Ahlu 's-Sunnah people. It is not for you; you cannot do this! You must say who is Salafu 's-Saalih, you must give their names!

Therefore, we are saying, Hassan al-Basri is a follower of Sahaaba (r). The honor of the Companions is high because they are taking from the first level, who were with the Seal of Prophets (s). Taabi`een (r) is the next generation following Sahaaba (r). Hassan al-Basri was from the Taabi`een, who reached to the Companions of the Seal of Prophets (s). You are accepting Hassan al-Basri as Salafu 's-Saalih, Salafi `ulamas? So many thousands of followers of the Companions in Damascus. Sufyan ath-Thawri (r) was from the Taabi`een; are you accepting him? And those people were destroying tombs? Whom are you following? Hassan al-Basri, thousands, perhaps millions were following him!

One day he was going from one side to other side of Dijla (Tigris River) and he met Hassan al-Basri (q), and he was going to pass Dijla and he was waiting on him, and coming Habeebu 'l-`Ajami, min as-saliheen, from the righteous pure ones. He was not of Arab people. If he was not saaliheen his name would not reach up to today and we would not speak of him. Coming to Hassan al-Basri, to the same place, he was asking him, “Why are you sitting here?”

"O Habeeb, I am waiting for a raft," making like this and this (Mawlana Shaykh gestures as if rowing with oars), "I am coming to pass to other bank."

"O Imam, you are Imam and waiting for a raft, waiting here for that? Why you are not passing on it?"

"Why I am passing for that?"

And Habeebu 'l-`Ajami saying, "Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem," over and over again. Lightning was coming from his body, when he was saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, walking on water and going there. "Why you are not saying, Hassan al-Basri? Say this and you may pass."

Hassan al-Basri was crying, saying, "We have not yet reached the level of yaqeen, certainty. You have reached certainty, and you may walk on it."

The power of certainty comes by saying, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. We have reached only to power of tongues, not of certainty. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is filled with heavenly power, one may say over a dead body, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, and say "Stand up!" and it may stand up. Why you are not teaching to people such a thing, Salafi `ulamas? Saying? I think you don't like stories of saaliheen. All of those people have power of certainty, yaqeen.

O People! Try to reach to that point. For example, there are some instruments in our majlis, meeting hall. We are told these instruments take our speech that we are addressing to people, from east to west. Yes, it is real. But I cannot arrange that instrument to do what it is going to do. Must be such an expert, a specialist. I can't do anything, but these, our brothers, know how to use it and they are sending it from east to west from a small place. That power is also secret power of bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, but you are not ready to use it. Therefore, you cannot use bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem as one wali, saint uses it. They may use and if not, we cannot use it. Therefore, bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem is full of powers as that is, but if you do not know how to use it, you cannot reach anything. Look here. They are not learning to use these instruments when they were at home. They did not learn from their mums and dads, they are learning from experts. This power of bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, not everyone is authorized to use it. Hassan al-Basri was not authorized to use it, but Habeebu `l 'Ajami was.

O People! So many things you must try to learn about Islam's spirituality. Don't think that Islam only has some actions that you are doing and finishing, no. The actions you are doing, like praying and fasting and going to Hajj and giving to charity, no, there is secret power to giving sadaqah, to praying, to make special actions for your real being, or special practicing for learning how you can use your spiritual power. All of us have spiritual power but we are not knowing how to use it. Like here, we have instruments, but if you do not know how to use them, there is no benefit. For that purpose, you must ask who knows the secret powers of those heavenly instruments granted to Mankind, if not, it is useless.

May Allah forgive us.

O People! O People! We must try to learn. And you can't learn Medicine in a grocery shop, or you can't go to the building of a doctor to show you how it is going to be built, noفَاسْأَلْ بِهِ خَبِيرًا Fas'al bihi khabeera, "Ask the expert (who knows)." (25:59) Who is knowing the secret power and ways reaching to you, you may take that power from them. Sahaaba (r) were taking their shares from the Seal of Prophets (s) and they are becoming shining stars in heavens. O people, try to understand. My English is not so powerful, but if you are hearing, may Allah grants us for a good understanding and to keep the ways of chosen ones through Mankind that they are experts and specialists for everything on Earth and in Heaven.

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah

Allahumma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Wa `alaa aalihi wa saahbihi wa sallam. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

Fatihah.

(46 minutes) Getting more high. Allah Allah, Allah Allah. Shukr. (Mawlana Shaykh prays Salaatu 'sh-Shukr.)

(Mawlana Shaykh speaks with Shaykh Hisham Effendi on the phone about his recent trip to Africa. Sultan is very happy.)
